As far as i know, any question that does not involve a basic feature of the game, introduced to the new player IN GAME, not the forum, is considered a special group. There is no obligation for the new players to read through the forum so they will have no idea about this type of questions.

It's not that we don't read the news, but doomlord questions have to come from the game description pages. I'm actually surprised that the answer is not listed on this one: http: //www.doomlord.net/index.php?m=jatekleiras&sub=lehetosegek

This questions was rejected:

Which of the following railroads in the game of Monopoly are fictional?

The Reading Railroad
The Pennsylvania Railroad
The B&O Railroad
The Short Line Railroad

The question is valued as "Bad, incorrect question"!
According to evaluators your question is ambiguous.

According to the game of Monopoly, by Parker Brothers, The 4 railroad properties were named for real transportation vehicles. The Reading, Pennsylvania, and B&O were railroads. However, The Short Line was not a railroad, it was a bus line. Hence the reason for the question.

maybe you could add 'traditional' to your question - there might be other games in which they are called on another names (national translations, for example)

The question is valued as "Bad, incorrect question"!
According to evaluators your question is ambiguous.

Wonderful! They have taken out "Special Knowledge" as a refusal criteria... But it's then been replaced my "ambiguous". Ummm, who here knows what ambiguous means - it means multiple possible answers / interpretations. Last time I checked, a team name had an absolute, definite answer. So not only is this a continued example of geographical racism, a continued example of reviewers being shit at their jobs, but now they are just making up reasons to decline a question.

THIS IS WHY I DON'T SPEND MONEY TO SUPPORT THIS GAME!

On April 3, 1882, Jesse James was killed in his own home by who?

David Tutt
Jack McCall
Bill Mulvey
Bob Ford.

This question was called a good question....

What military man had a much less famous cousin nicknamed "Mudwall"?

Ulysses S. Grant
Dwight D. Eisenhower.
James Madison
"Stonewall" Jackson

This question was deemed a bad question According to evaluators only a special group of people might know the answer.

They are both the SAME type of question.........The evaluators NEED TO SMARTEN UP or they need to be changed so there is some consistancy...because this makes no sense to me.

Which of the following sets of words are antonyms?

close/open
close/clothes
close/shut
close/toes

The question is valued as "Bad, incorrect question"!
Your answers are ambiguous or wrong to this question.

Antonyms are words that are opposites. The opposite of close is open. I open the door. I close the door. I do not understand why this is amgiguous or wrong.

The response i got to my inquiry was "delete" Now I am more confused.

To be honest, it seems to be a rather esoteric matter whether a question is accepted or not. Some half-asleep moderator reads the question (or at least glances at it in cue) and arbitrarily decides it's a bad question.

I'm done with question writing. The real question is not whether some of the question moderators are a bit slow but whether only idiots are in charge of question validation, or are there at least one or two with some common sense?

I agree that it should be added to that page I am sure it was meant to be added just got forgotten about. But also as far as the rules for quoz question writing state there is nothing that states that questions about the game have to be in the description page. It use to, but that was back when the game first started. Technically i could write this question and it would not be wrong.

How many correct questions must you answer before you can write your own?
100 *mark this as correct
30
25
70

since the quiz page still says 100 correctly answered questions to get a chance to write your own. Even though it was set to 30 instead.

Spin is right, when i taked about it with a quiz admin, the ansewr was that a doomlord specific question has to be answerable by a level 1 player. Didnt say anything about where the answer should be found. She gave the impression that if a new player browses through the tutorial and the initial features of the game, excluding forums, will be able to answer it. That eliminates any questions about skills, adventures, auction hall, pets, etc. Anything not at first level is considered too special as far as the admins are conserned

i think there's huge difference between asking a sport someone plays and asking his nickname - despite Ronnie is the king and everyone knows he's the rocket
someone not loving snooker has probably heard of him but not surely knows the nickname.

From which Constitution was the Concept of a Five Year Plan borrowed into the Indian Constitution?
USA.
UK.
USSR.
Ireland.

How is that question not even MORE specific to a special group of people who study law/history from those very specific nations? not to mention the very specific questions about astronomy or anatomy? If they are supposed to be general knowledge questions, almost every question needs to be scrapped. 'General knowledge' is a very relative concept, what is general to one person who happend to study those specific topics, is not general knowledge to others, not to mention that as stated by admins, we are a player base from all over the world, (from the USA myself) and every country teaches it people different things entirely.
