While attempting an attack I got the following message.

"It's no use attacking him/her, because you would not get any soul-energy."

Is it a new feature?

And what did you do ?

If you did attack did you take any SE ( in case you won ) ?

didn't let me attack, as my opponent was short of hp.

I guess he got attacked 5 times in a row. 100%->80%->60%->40%->20%->0% SE to acquire.
