Can someone clarify the increase to ability points when the infection is cured?

Does the increase apply to the base stats or to the extra +x stats?


Also, can someone explain the +5 cap to x skills? Does the cap increase only via mindboost?

The bonus to abilities is a flat 5 point bonus to the base of all your abilities. So if you have 200 (+50) you will have 205 (+50) afterwards.

The bonus to skills should read something like this:
"You can use mind-boost to boost skills to 5 above their normal maximum. The normal rules for Mind-boost apply, so you can only increase a skill by the same amount as the the base level you have of the skill.
At level 68 (and every 10 levels after that) you can designate one skill that can be increased 5 points above its normal maximum. That skill can then not be further increased by Mind-boosting it."

i am curious about something. i have %0 infection and increased 4 skill by 5 level permanently. can i get back to %100 infection and if yes does 5 level permanent increases go away or continue?

You can't get back to %100 infection.

Actually, you can by using the "Ancient healing potion".

"Your Infection will be exactly 50% (even if it was 0% or 100%)"


The +5 stats to base is a bummer though.. for the amount of SE spent reducing the infection; I expected a constant (+5) overall.

If your infection is 0%, you can't licit to this item. The description is ambiguous, we'll modify it to "even if it was 1% or 100%".
