i have been havng alot of DNS issues with dl for last month or two, im sick of them so i mailed info@ and im now sick of the responses i get frmt hem, its always excuse after excuse and the excuses are generally the easy way out rather thna actually deal with issues.

if a paying customer mails then reply in a timely fashion, do not use cut and paste excuses when u actually have no idea cos i have a few more ideas than u and can smell the bullsh1t a mile away

fix the damn DNS problems on the servers or give me all my money back do not give me crap responses to my queiries and do not think u have answered me and therefore no more replies from you is warranted.

I would like you to look after what pages generate the errors so they can fix it fast. If you can reprofuce the DNS, datebase, 404 error it will be definately fixed.

I haven't met these so far on W1.

the problems started when DL had that major outage a little while ago, since then ive had constant time out problems, page errors dns lookup problems and databse errors.

it happens on all pages randomly, sometimes i cant log in, sometimes i cant answer quiz cos i just get a connecting routine for 10 minutes etc etc


i sent copy of the page could not be loaded to admin and all i got told was its server overload, sorry dns lookup issues and dtabse errors have nothing to do with server load times.

Try playing DL under each of the following conditions :
1°) installing and using a new browser on your PC.
2°) On a different computer in a different location.

Honestly, I don't have any issues, and I play both at home and at work. Also, I haven't seen any other complaints, so my first instinct is to think the problem's more on your side. The above tests should help pointing out where the problem really is, so do them and let us know what happens.

i know a player from oz who has had similar probs as me,

ive also asked a clan mate to log into my account when its got t1ts up on me int he middle of quizes or soemthing and he has same login issues and hes based in europe nut not on his account just when hes tried to access mine

I think that admin is not doing their job at all. I have never seen that, they are not replaying to mails in normal time. Very very not profesional

Well, something could have gone wrong with your account. I will ask them to run some test with your acc since it seems like it is more an account based error not some datebase or game script side thing.

Please give us some exact time when all that happened, and some additional information like: your timezone, how often do you encounter these issues.

D00ml0rd is still struggling to connect to server (world 2 and 3), so he asked me to post this :

Firefox can't find the server at world3.doomlord.net.
Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com

etc-etc...

Standard error, but he's been having them almost every day now and this is the only site where he has this problem. Could you have a look at this please?

D00ml0rd asked me to post here, since he can still not log in. Or more precisely - he can't even get to the doomlord site. He has been on and off (mostly off...) for a long time now and this time he hasn't been able to get to it in more than 24 hours. I hope you can fix this somehow.

Can't get to the DL site? Then it isn't a server side problem. The game is up and running.

Lone Ranger, thank you for helping with Doomlord's issue. I sent him a pm on the forum, but I tell you here too: we are trying different settings, we changed things, I think now that his problem has been resolved now (due to caching it may not be immediate and might take some time). Please test it tomorrow I hope very much it is fixed now.
