He probably signed to champ when he was 25. It seems strange to gain 3 levels so quickly, but if he saved action points he could quickly leveled with Zaraknod's Event...
It is possible but the player will participate with the level and stats he had when he registered. If you read the description you'll see that the system stores your stats/skills/gear/pets from the registration moment so whatever you do after wont count in the championship.
You learn something everyday:) I noticed that last month it was held 6th so I assumed it is always around that date. Once a month few days after month starts
Well, I think this championship is a piece of XXX now. 6-7-8 level categories? What the XXX can we do with a player 7 level higher then us? Is it so damn hard to make this categories by the ability total plus some score from the inventory?
Of course, it is absolutely fine now... Like a 70kg vs 120kg in boxing...
Well if you know it's the first Friday of every month, you can plan what level you will be and therefore which category. If you play your cards right you can be the one 6-7-8 levels above the poor guy who didn't look up his category! And there is greater variation at the higher levels anyway- though I do agree that 8 levels is a little extreme.
Lumping together people with similar abilities isn't a great idea... Think about a level 30 with 1k attributes going up against a level 60 with 1.1k attributes!
the championships (despte the name) are purely just a bit of fun, the random seems to be the winner in most categories.
On W3 i was the only player at my level (19) with equip (wep and spell) 4 levels above me and only one of 2 players with 2 extra attacks from toughness, despite having 140 more skill points and 50 more attribs i was beaten by a player that i have dueld many ti mes and never even looked like losing to, no offence to that player but to lose the championship to him just proves that this championship has nothing to do with skills or attribs or even luck factor (he not in clan and had no luck)
ive given up taking the championshops seriously as to me they are just a joke to have a laugh about the next day:)

Usually when attacking you'll be in your best outfit, using your pets and have a battle skills mindboosted, while your target often will not be in his best condition.
This could explain why some targets you often attack can be much stronger during the champs.
I by no means intend to disregard the random fatcor though Quite surprising winners turn up sometimes.
After seeing Lord destiny win the championship 10 times in a row (W1), i would say random is there only if the players are actually closer than they think. How else can he win so many times if his supirior abilities and skills did not always count? Piggy is right, random might be a fact but that is because you are not as far appart in power from the players you usually duel as you may think.
