But, a tip on how to judge what your pets base level is before you waste the time...and SE to train...use this simple formula:

the SE needed to train, divided by three; equals the pets base level.

Example:
A pet needing 900 SE to train, will be a Base Level 3
A pet needing 2400 SE will be a Base Level 8

If I am incorrect on this...please, let me know.

divide by 300, not 3 - so SE needed to train divided by 300 = base level

Ok, so I guess I am missing something in the logic of pets.
Seems I can equip myself with armor and weaponry, but pets only get one article.
So when I buy something for my pet, I lose whatever was equipped before?

Yes, you will loose it, it works like the focus crystals in your equipment, you can only replace it.

QUESTION ...

How are pets Ability levels figured? How do you tell if 1 pet is better then the next?
Do pets each have there own stats or do they basically just give you attack and defense bonus?
Are there any sites that have information on pets?
