He did not discover the first printing press. They had been in use for centuries. He was the inventor of the first printing press with movable metal type that allowed for mass production.

Way too many errors came up in the olympics. I can't remember them all since I was trying not to let it bother me. The last one I had asked what country the Romans called Lusitania. I clicked the first correct answer I saw: Spain. Then was told, wrong, correct answer Portugal. Both are correct.

I too have been pondering Stekkos' idea. I do not have a super high level character where I think this would be implemented, but it does sound like an interesting and workable idea to keep things fresh at the very high levels.
