One of these song is not from Madonna.

song-->songs
the bigger issue is "from"
while madonna sings a version of american pie, i wouldn't say it's "from" her.
poor don mclean gets no respect.
how about changing it to "recorded by"?

Kermit the Frog did not originate on the muppet show. he appeared regularly on sesame street (1969-) years before there was a muppet show (1976-1981).

President of United States

grammar aside, the 4th answer will inevitably make this a bad question.

killer of all, another possibility is that the evaluators are validly determining that your quiz question was ambiguous. "invented" according to what culture? couldn't the argument be made that G-d, one of your answers, invented all numbers including zero?

i've met Asian people who do not use these wooden sticks. question shouldn't be so broad-sweeping.

i'd agree with that, Chaotic. i've continued putting mere typos in 'Quiz fixing'.

i'm pretty sure i've seen someone else raise this one a while back, but evidently it's still in there:

"Eddie Goodell is famous in baseball history for what"

his name was Eddie Gaedel, not Goodell. it's a head-scratcher as to how something like this gets through.

3. History: Events from any part of the world are ok as long as they had a major impact at least on one nation or country. Inventions, wars, natural disasters, politics, anything is good as long as it follows that rule. Example of bad question: ""What year did the 12th president of X country died"" Dates should be widely spaced, so if something happened at 1809, put as answers at least (approximate suggestions)1830, 1809, 1821, 1789, not 1809, 1810, 1808,1807. The idea is that a player that has some idea of the event to make an educated guess, not scroll through google to find the date.
