how is this uninteresting lexical knowledge? it's a classic brain teaser about positive hypothesis testing, not about knowledge at all:

as the best selling book in history, it's a safe bet that more users have read it than the majority of the content i've seen on these quizzes. in fact, the above fact is the answer to one of the accepted quiz questions. what is ambiguous about the answers so i may change it? you commented on "earth" earlier, but whatever interpretation you may have of the word doesn't change which answer is correct, all of the above.

in the story of adam & eve, man was created first, then plants and animals, and finally, woman. this differs from the sequence of the 7 days of creation. that's what makes this interesting.

thank you, ChaoticGemini!
Dátum: 2010.07.20. 01:08:18
'All of the Above' makes sense because Genesis contains TWO contradictory stories, the 7 days of creation and adam & eve.
Dátum: 2010.07.19. 22:20:09
any idea what in this question is ambiguous or wrong? Genesis has TWO creation stories (the 7 days of creation and adam & eve). these strories have a different sequence of events.

According to The Bible's Book of Genesis, what was the order of events in creation?

plants, animals, then man.
man, plants, then animals.
light, earth, then life.
all of the above. [correct]
Dátum: 2010.07.10. 04:05:46
yes, that would make sense. however, that's not what the answer is. i guess we know a little more about genetics today than they did when the myth was written. that's why i find it an interesting piece of trivia.

but i think i'm understanding the confusion better now. by trying to explain the question better, the part human part god could be a little confusing, i suppose.

but the first time i submitted the same question, it was rejected as ambiguous, when i merely described him as divine.

thanks, ChaoticGemini
