The intensity of the sound is too low for humans to hear in space.

Sound requires a medium to propagate through.

This is a silly question. If, as the question suggests, you are able to scream then you can not be totally in space but must be in some sort of space suit or ship. If not, you would die before you had the chance to scream. If you were not dead, then your scream could be heard by anyone inside the same ship or, if radios were in operation, on the same wavelength.

Melbourne is the capital city of the state of Victoria which is in Southern Australia. Therefore wikipedia is correct, Melbourne is the correct answer but, as you say, Southern Australia should not appear as an option.
