where did australian rules footbal originate? Victoria is marked as correct, but wikipedia says Melbourne <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Australian_rules_football>. both are in Southern Australia which is marked as incorrect. ambiguous: South Australia could mean the state or a general location.

Melbourne is the capital city of the state of Victoria which is in Southern Australia. Therefore wikipedia is correct, Melbourne is the correct answer but, as you say, Southern Australia should not appear as an option.

Which was the first element in the universe?
carbon
helium
hydrogen
oxygen

Asssuming the Universe began with the Big Bang, it is thought that the first element formed, by colliding quarks and other sub-atomic particles, was hydrogen - the lightest of all the elements.

Please change the question so that it is not asked as a known fact but only as a supposition!

what is a cavalry?
a horse that has a pikeman riding on them
a man riding a horse
a horse that has a heavy armor
a horse that has a soldiers trained to ride on them <--

That is backwards. Cavalry is not the horse with soldiers, but soldiers that are mounted. In modern times, the horse part has even become irrelevant as it can be used for solderers trained to fight atop anything (i.e. tanks, humvees)

Which of following organisms is the oldest?
Fungi
Fish
Mammals
Bacteria

The question is too vague, it should be more specific. The bacteria on someone's hand, for example, are not older than the mammal that hosts them. Evolutionarily bacteria (in general) are most likely to be the oldest.
I've googled "bacteria life span" and found this:
Some types of bacteria, such as those that cause strep throat, can live on any inanimate surface for hours or even weeks. Others have a very short life span that lasts as few as 20 minutes.

Obviously fishes and mammals can live longer than "hours or even weeks", so I think you should specify "oldest".
(Now let's hope I haven't been too vague with this explanation.)

What country was the great inventor Nikola Tesla from?
USA
Bosnia and Hercegovina
Croatia <- at the time it was Austria
England

What nationality is great inventor Nikola Tesla?
Croatian
American
Serb <- marked as correct, but he was born in what's now Croatia, and a citizen of Austria.
Bosnian

From the wiki-page about him: Born an ethnic Serb in the village of Smiljan (now part of Gospić), in the Croatian Military Frontier[1] of the Austrian Empire (modern-day Croatia), Tesla was a subject of the Austrian Empire by birth and later became an American citizen.

So his nationality was Austrian or American, not Croat or Serb. Ethnicity Serb, but that's not the same.

Edit: Corrected a few typos.

21.2% (7) of the world's 33 tallest buildings are in United Arab Emirates. How many percent are there in China (including Taiwan and Hongkong)?
63.6% (21 buildings)
18.2% (6 buildings)
33.3% (11 buildings)
54.5% (18 buildings) <- marked as correct, but I can only find 16

****

What is the download speed of 4-G internet?
3-6 mb per second <- marked as correct
5-20 gb per second
1-2.5 tb per second
2-9 kb per second

In 2008, the ITU-R organization specified the IMT-Advanced (International Mobile Telecommunications Advanced) requirements for 4G standards, setting peak speed requirements for 4G service at 100 Mbit/s for high mobility communication (such as from trains and cars) and 1 Gbit/s for low mobility communication (such as pedestrians and stationary users).

The fact that not many, if any, providers offer speeds that lives up to the 4G specifications is irelevant, the standard is still more than 3-6 mb/s.

Besides as network speeds are normally listed in Kbit/s, Mbit/s, or Gbit/s I think the notation used in the answers is ambiguous.

One of the guidelines states that questions about the 2nd place anything won't be accepted. You have to ask about the 1st place winner.

What is organism ?
Living complex adaptive system of organs
Body of earthly nature
Body which is organized
Body containing orgasmic organs

First of all: organism is a word. A better question would be "what does 'organism' mean?" or "what is an organism?" or "which of the following describes 'organism' the best?". An organism doesn't have to possess organs/be a system of organs to be an organism. How many organs do you think bacteria have? Or fungi? (Not to mention viri (viruses).)
Biology-online gave me the following definition:
Definition

noun, plural: organisms

(Science: Biology)

An individual living thing that can react to stimuli, reproduce, grow, and maintain homeostasis. It can be a virus, bacterium, protist, fungus, plant or an animal.

Supplement

Word origin: Greek organon = instrument.
Related forms: organismic (adjective), organismal (adjective), organismically (adverb).
Synonym: living thing, living being, individual.

I hope that says enough.
