there are two different Achilles questions: who fought Achilles, and who killed Achilles. the who killed Achilles Q is fine. the who fought Achilles Q lists Hector as the correct answer. Hector fought and lost to Achilles, but Paris is also a correct answer.

the variance you're seeing is probably due to demographics (sex, race, etc). there's also a difference between lifespan and life expectancy. here's the US government's report on life expectancy:
