there's no more efficient mentoring strategy than getting new players into active, veteran clans.
but with the soul well investment so high, i've had to advise new players NOT to join us right away.
with the current system, they're better off in a smaller clan with a smaller soul well as they grow
...if they can find one.
most never end up growing enough before they quit.

i'd be surprised if we could get 2 shards from the same event. i was anticipating 1 shard from each. maybe i misunderstood, but the description includes "collect them all!"

Miklos' hesitation could mean that they aren't sure where things are headed with the shards and he doesn't want us to be disappointed.

i hedged my bet and picked up 50 chitins in anticipation of buying the xeno shard in 6 months.

i had already spent my chitins of minion crystals, anyway. :|

new/low-level players still need more help in becoming full-members of the top active clans. the literal years investment required to pay down the soul well inevitably results in them giving up.

i don't have any of those once-off quests remaining.

i've found 3 divine decrees, so we can find them. but i can't imagine using them for repeatable quests when they incur a 1000 XP cost. so they're quite useless to higher levels for the foreseeable future. at least the royal seals can save a few thousand SE on tasks.
