And again i will say that you have a legitimate point but i cannot say anything more since i did not reject it. Only the evaluator involved can exlain why he things its too special. Whatever i speculate will just not be usefull

Viridel, the spacing of years and numbers is for those who have an approximate idea what the answer is but they are not 100% sure. They should not be forced to look up the answer just to verify that its 3 and not 4, or 1976 not 1977. As you very correctly said, those that have no idea will still have to search for the answer so its not for them that the spacing is required. So it does matter for sports as well. If soeone asks how many players are in a soccer team, a person whith some idea of the game should be able to answer without having to lookup the question because he remembers 11 but maybe its 12 or 10, as the options given to him. 7 9 11 13 its a far better option.
