The new scheduled event will be Imprisoning Landragor.

Expected launch is 23th of April.

This time there will be no big changes, it will last for 3 weeks, each week is a phase where you have to kill as much dracons as possible.
There rewards will be the same, besides the usual stuff you can win half-year auction ticket in phase 1, tome of wisdom in phase 2, and epic treasure chest in phase 3.
Make sure that you use up your previous treasure chest by the end of phase 2 or you can't find a new one in phase 3!

Helm shards: for the daily helm shards, you have to hunt once and capture a creature once. These can be triggered during the event by killing dracons. Whenever you kill a dracon there will be 8% chance that the "capture" task is triggered and you get the helm shard.

Wheel of Fortune: the daily wheel roll's prerequisite of hunting can be also completed by killing a dracon.

Please note that the coming temple of Doom has a few tasks related to hunts. These CANNOT be completed by killing dracons.

Nice to hear, even if the Event is delayed compared the list presented in the beginning of the year (that listed said Landragor 18th of Apr – 9th of May).

Why is the event delayed? Im really sick of it. More and more things to be sick of here...why did you write a stupid plan, if its not even truth.

They implemented a lot of things, so give them a break.

It is annoying, because maybe people planned their activities so that they would fill up AP/DP/whatever just in time for the event? And I have to agree, why publish such a detailed list if you are not going to stick with it?

The thing is; they even can and will descide to change the duration of an event during this event (remember I went on strike as a top 10 player (... no-one gave any comment what so ever).
So; my conclusion is; a planned event upon a certain date, can be pre- or postponed; the lenght isn'but an indication ... 3weeks is perhaps 2 weeks or .... why not 5weeks....

... we'll have to live with those total uncontrolable situations (or quit).

(And yes; I fully agree this isn't in favor of any descent preparation.)

I dont care how many things they implemented, they announced a plan, and they did not stick to it. If they didnt implement a sinlge new thing but sticked to the plan, Id be WAAAAAY more happy than this. I planned all my activities in Doomlord in accordance to that date, I even planned my real life vacation in accordance to this event, coz I knew what time it will be. If they are going to change everything like they want, there is not a single reason of that stupid plan anyway. Moreover, I dont believe anything they say now. Anything.
Its like I will buy AS for 20euro, but I will pay them later, or maybe just 15e instead of 20 for it, would they like it? I dont think so.

I'm sorry borecdan, we try to stick to the schedule as much as we can. But when you plan things a year advance, it is possible that a few days delay happen. But I always try to inform you well in advance when we know the exact dates.

So do we just use AP's for this event, or do we use DP's too?

Do we get AA points when we fight according to 2 AP spent hunting?

drat, just when i planned on max ap and a memory box at the start of it, I would like it if a postponement if needed would be announce 2 weeks up front or so, then i could adapt the saving up on a for it.

The event is using AP and SE. If you want to spend all of your APs on the event, you need DPs to get the SE for the battles. I think saving up both is a good idea.
