This is indeed good news, will the new site stay as the mirror address you have above?
Yes, but chaoticgemini.com/doomlord will not stay a mirror. It will be the new home and get all the updates. The old site will disappear at the end of June.
Also, equipment above 100 is on my to do list

That would be me It started as my personal list of things, then I had friends playing asking the same questions and finally, I just asked beholder permission to make it public. I'll admit I was going to let it fade when it's current server goes down in June, but I heard from many, like you, that still use it, so I moved it with all the other sites I maintain and am working on updating the info. I'm just happy it is still useful to others.

The first stamps appeared in China in 1878. they had a picture of a ____ on the stamp.
Yes, the post office issued the first set of stamps in 1878, but the first stamps actually appeared in 1840 after the Opium War for use mainly with business exchanges.

I don't see the monopoly question in the database.
Good point about plethora; added a new choice.

Clearly you assume things of the evaluators too
Plus, google results (that are also skewed by your home country) do not determine the validity of a question.

Honestly, I would err on the side of ambiguous. Names means are often different from culture to culture, sometimes even from book to book.

I just doubled checked and the only question left in the database about the Canary Islands does, indeed, say, "Off which continent are the Canary Islands?"

@Johannes - when I could still do the olympics, I ALWAYS got that question wrong by marking equinox. Great suggested change to prevent the cringe in others.

What is the UK’s most dialled telephone number?
The answer is not a telephone number, it's a calling code. Three answers (including the correct one) were only one number apart.
Must say though, leaned a new uk/us spelling issue today -- dialled vs. dialed.

I just approved that one. Checked the answer, but completely missed that he does not have a Y in his name. Nice catch.

A sentence starts with a capital letter and March is a proper noun.
who reached 100 international cricket 100's in march 2012 ?
Sachin Tendulkar
Geoffrey Boycott
Rahul Dravid
Ricky Ponting
The question is valued as "Bad, incorrect question"!
Spelling mistakes in question or answers.
Just Who evaluates these questions, there are no spelling errors in this, i spell check before i posed the question, and the names are from a cricket site.
so why has it been rejected???

I don't see how this is a problem. It starts with the Russian Empire, Russia assumed the duties of the Soviet Union when it dissolved and even under the USSR moniker it was referred to as Russia in common speech.
