Adult African male lions with dark manes are more dominant than blond maned lions. Why is this?

Dark maned lions have a higher level of testosterone.
Blond maned lions are always younger.
Dark maned lions eat more protein.
Blond maned lions eat more fat.

The question is valued as "Bad, incorrect question"!
Your answers are ambiguous or wrong to this question.

Just a thought, but it could be considered ambiguous because (to point out a fact)
The mane of a lion grows darker as the lion grows older.

Also, studies have shown (from National Geographic) that if a male becomes better nourished or relocates to a different habitat; his mane may become darker as well.

So, following these facts, re-read your answers you provided with the question and think about it.

It TIME, you invest in a SPELL CHECK that works. I had several questions as will as other player marked this way and I can not find any mistakes.

This statue was found on the Greek island of Melos in 1820?

The Thinker
David
The Archer
The Venus De Milo

Ok....uhm... let's look at this from an evaluators perspective:

First, try creating a question that isn't a statement.

"What statue was found on the Greek island of Melos in 1820?"

and the another reason that I can think of, is "De" should be "de".....

READ THE FORUM!! Spelling error evaluation can be given for more than spelling errors. i.e. Good question, but badly worded; grammar errors; etc. We give the spelling evaluation so you don't loose the right to ask another question right away and/or can fix the question. Post the question here and we can help.

How many provinces are there in the country of Ireland?

The question is valued as "Bad, incorrect question"!
Spelling mistakes in question or answers.

Perhaps because Ireland is no longer considered to be one country?

The same problem could arise by asking this question:

How many provinces are there in the country of Korea?

Perhaps you should refine your question to this:
Ireland is subdivided into how many provinces?

Also, you might need to space out your answers.

What is the name of Kabir Bedi's character in the James Bond movie?
Gopal
Gobinda
Goswami
Govardhan

Isn't it too special knowledge?

A part of me agrees...

While another part feels that naming the movie itself might alleviate this, but then again...the name might be censored.

If there was a huge drill and someone drilled into the ground with it and hit a plate underground what would happen.

A Hurricane
B Snow Storm
C Lighting Storm
D Earthquake

Ans:The answer is D because if a plate was destroyed under ground it would cause a EQuake thats why we get EQuakes all the time and the answer is so easy because what does storms and hurricanes have to do with the ground they happen to deal with the sky and elments of the world.

What?

No...a drill would not cause an earthquake....

An earthquake is a natural occurrence.

Just because you can urinate from the second story balcony does not qualify it as rain.
Perhaps you should study up a bit more on earthquakes.

Martin points:

1. Taipan has the strongest venom but almost no recorded kills. So good point

Another fact:

The country with the largest number of annual snakebite deaths each year is Sri Lanka with the leading cause of death being a bite from a Russell’s viper.

So, if you think about this, wouldn't the Russell’s Viper be the most dangerous considering how many humans have been recorded to have been killed by them?

Who is the main opponent of Sherlock Holmes?
Jack the Ripper
Dorian Gray
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Professor Moriarty

Doyle wrote four novels and 56 short stories about Holmes, and as I found Moriarty appeared in only two of the 60 Sherlock Holmes tales by Conan Doyle. Only dr. Watson and Holmes housekeeper Mrs. Hudson constantly occurring, so you can't say that Professor Moriarty is the main opponent of Holmes.

Again, not my question...

BUT...
In at least 4 other shorts (The illustrious Client, The Empty House, His Last Bow, and The Norwood Builder) Doyle has Holmes drone on and on about the Professor...

No other villain of the Holmes stories (including the short stories) is brought up as much with such an admirable regard, as Moriarty was.

You should read "The Final Problem"

What kind of animal is a Tursiops Truncatus?

Uh...well....technically, all the answers are WRONG...

Why?
Because it is that animal....not a "KIND OF"

It's the Scientific Name (Latin) for the animal itself...no other animal is a Tursiops Truncatus.

....that's like asking "What kind of software is Mac OS X?"
and having the correct answer to be "Apple"

Are ya'll paying attention here?

Which food of these foods contains the highest source of carbohydrates?

Potatoe
Cucumber
Lettuce
Tomatoe

You missed the key words: " food of these foods" not...." foods that are listed on some random list from out on the internet"
No offense but...you should have tried this list:

http://www.weightlossforall.com/carbohydrates-vegetables.htm

All values are calculated from raw vegetables.
(yes, cucumbers and tomatoes are not technically vegetables but....well...that isn't the issue being discussed.)

Disclaimer: that was not my question anyhow, just stating that research should be done thoroughly before debates are posted.

Which one of the following is NOT a european car?
Mitzubishi
Volkswagen
Skoda
Jaguar

there are two non europian cars Mitsubishi and jaguar also mitsubishi is written in wrong spelling

thanks

You are correct, but;

You should elaborate on this.
The origins of Mitsubishi is Japanese (Asia) but was bought by DaimlerChrysler (which is/was a German company) but was bought up by the Mitsubishi Group and is now Mitsubishi Motor Company (Back to the Japanese)

The origins of Jaguar is England but is now owned by Tata Motors (India)

witch substance is the most dangerous in asociation with alchool?
tabaco
diazepam
absinth
weed

Oh...where to begin?
Just spelling errors.

Here...this is how it should have been written (Notice the difference)

Of the choices below, which substance is the most dangerous in association with alcohol?
tobacco
diazepam
absinthe
marijuana

Why did I add that first part to the question?
Some studies find that GHB (even at low doses) mixed with alcohol is more dangerous than the correct answer of the above question.
Also..."weed" was changed to marijuana. (We all know that is what you meant)
Some weeds are deadly to humans on their own.

The world's largest diamond producing country is...
Rusia
Peru
England
South Africa

spelling of Russia is wrong...

BUT most importantly...

I suppose it depends on how you list the countries.
By Volume?
By Carats?
By Income?

Ok...well...choose one, and the "Correct Answer" is still...NOT correct.

But hey....don't take my word for it.

Look at the most RECENT news topic concerning the world’s largest diamond producer:
http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/business/worlds-largest-diamond-producer- seeks-training-in-india_100316226.html

Clearly this question needs to be removed from the quiz database.

edit:
Unless the person who devised this question, was asking about the origins of The Golden Jubilee.
In that case, the question needs to be completely re-worded.

You have answered the question for this hunt correctly, so you get +10% soul-energy!

I won't complain, but I never got the chance to answer the quiz. Having 1 action point after completing a number of hunts, and just raising a level on one of the last hunts, I pressed hunt and was immediately sent to the "you have answered...." page.

Under Misc-Acceleration-Faster quiz
Did you enable this?
It might explain this.

For instance, normally you can start 10 hunts, answer all questions and then cancel the 10 hunts.
Then later, when you start 10 hunts again, you do not have to do the quizzes (because you have already done this)

SO...
If you enabled the "Faster Quiz" feature:
Could it have been possible, that you answered 5 quiz questions (giving you 10 answered questions total) and only hunted 9 times?
Leaving 1 question left to be used for a hunt?

(The above was just an example)

When was Mary had a little lamb written?
April 1 1930
May 24 1830 <- Marked as correct
November 17 1680
August 3 1777

This date is the date of 1st publication

So, in other words, the question should be amended to read:
"When was 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' first published?"

Which organ of Pinocchio grew when he lied?
his hair
his ears
his nose
his mouth

none of the above are organs.....

I believe this was covered before.

Technically, there are three organs listed.

Most would assume, an organ is internal and that is incorrect.

Hair is the only one among the choices for an answer that is NOT an organ.

Side fact:
Your skin is a prime example of an organ.

I just had a question that was something along lines of what role was Arnold Swharzengger cast in The Terminator (circa 1884)

The Terminator was one of the possible answers and thats what i selected but it was given as wrong with correct answer being Kyle Reese.

The IMDB site gives this for the star lineup.

Arnold Schwarzenegger ... The Terminator

Michael Biehn ... Kyle Reese

Now i missed out on answer 20 questions correct quiz.

ALSO would it be possible to show the full question and answers when an answer is given wrong, the amount of times i have incorrect questions is rediculous but as i dont copy each question before i answer (assuming i know the answer) i dont copy it before hitting answer button.

Also are these questions we report ever actually corrected?

First.... 1884 was probably supposed to be 1984.
So, I agree that the question should be shown again with the answer in a database under the "Quiz" tab, like our Previous Battles.

Second...Arnold was originally cast as Kyle Reese, Lance Henrikson was originally cast as The Terminator.
Shortly after screen tests (where actors read lines so the Production Crew can get a feel of how the movie will progress)

James Cameron (the director) decided to recast the two actors in the roles we now know of them to play.

Michael Biehn (who did play Kyle Reese) was rejected after his first audition, but after Arnold and Lance had been recast, Biehn was brought back for a second audition and given the part.

All of this information, can be found at IMDB.
