IIRC, critical spell makes your spell do 1.3x higher damage.
So with 220 THA, my max damage including critical should be: Max spell dmg *(1+THA/100)*1.3 = 220*3*1.3=800, but I allways do much more, even without critical.

If it is 3% per THA point, it's 220*7*1.3=2002
(I would also say that whole THA is used, not only THA>20. That would bring me to 220*7.6*1.3 = 2173. My current most damage dealt is 2164 which would correspond with it.)

Just to add to this discussion.
I was attacked by a person with a spell that does 139-139 (good and easy to calculate ). THA was 140 and a critical was achieved. Total damage was 926.
If you do 139*(1+0.03*140)*1.3 = 940, but I have 30 Magic Absortion. So it seems it is a little more than 3% actually.

Edit: The person is emerald. Maybe Emeralds get 3% and others less?

Miklos,
I don't think you understood the suggestion.
From a buyer's perspective, the player would pay, in a best scenario, 50% of the item value (-30% from Palace - 20% from Skill). That would be the price no matter who the seller is. As a matter of fact, he would not have the chance of buying from his "slave", because as I said, the sellers would not be disclosed. This theoretical "slave" would put the item in the market and his sale would enter the list at the bottom, after all the offers previously posted.
What you are saying would only apply in case one specific item was not in the market. Such situation would never happen in a competitive game because there would be enough offers to sell.

I read somewhere that we don't have a trade system in the game because it allows cheating. Well, if this is the case, I have a suggestion that would address the issue and allow players to trade.
Players would be able to trade as long as they had a "Merchant" skill, which would be available at the same Learning level as the Trade skill. For every point in the skill, the player would be allowed to buy/sell 1% better than normal. It means that buyers would be able to buy at 100% - % from Palace - % from Skill (20 max).
Sellers would be able to sell at 25% + % from Skill (25 max - from 20 to 25, buyers receive no benefit).
The mechanics would be the following: when a player wants to sell, he/she will simply click a button and the price would be defined automatically by the Merchant skill. Item will be placed in the market for 24h and the listing would cost 1 AP. Items will be listed chronologically. Buyers would then have a list of all available items, but only the first one of each in the list and without the name of the seller. Any difference between the price to sell/to buy would be taken by the huckster. This way, the transaction would be completed at a price defined by the skills and both buyer and seller would only interact with the game. No cheating would be possible.
I believe this would enable the market, which is a very important feature in terms of balancing because lower level players can have access to cheaper items.

Premium items:
This is where it gets tricky. After all, the company has to make money.
The simplest solution would be not to allow the sale of any premium items in the market.
Another possibility would be to allow those transactions with burnt AS (and create a mechanics similar to the one I described for the SE). That could even boost sales as more burnt AS could be converted into actual AS.

Yes, they are added manually.

Congratulations to World 3 as well! I posted a news on the front page about the glorious victory.

We are already planning the new event, so you can't really relax and grow restless

Good news Miklos.
Events are always welcome!
Can you pls include in this next event the possibility of getting the 3 items from Zarknod for those who don't have them? For players who joined after Zarknod, it is unfair not to have access to those items.

I am little concerned now.
I got the soul diamonds as one of my choices and they don't show up. I hope they will show when I reach lvl 40 or I will be extremely pissed.

Thank you all.

I really hope this Landragor event comes soon. Players who came in late should not be punished. They should also have access to all event items.

You can only choose 1 drain soul item.

Is there a plan for another edition of the Zarknod Event?
Thing is I joined the game when the original event was being launched and I didn't really participate on it. So I don't have the items and I REALLY want to have them.

I don't like the instant hunt, as I prefer to have my adversaries with SE on them
I will miss the XP for pets though.

@Ardent
I'd better hurry up then if I want to gain one of the medals

I still don't understand why winning the event makes you sad...

@Sbart
Excellent news!!!

@Doomlord
We will do it dude!!! Just hang in there!!

@Ardent
What are you talking about???
You don't want the event to be over?!?!

Don't be so sure Ardent.
Take a look at how many lvl 1-10 players the game has. If they expected all of them to build 1,600 each, then the prisons will require hundreds of thousands of builds to be finished. And this will be impossible.
It is absolutely fundamental that the low level prisons require SE and not builds!

I just did few builds at the 55 level (W2) ie one level above my own and it is still 0.04 per build (I have build=40)

Miklos,
You gotta help us on this one. If the prisons require a certain number of builds to be finished (and this number is correlationed to the number of active players for each level range), this is a lost event. We will never be ale to finish prisons level 5, 15 and 25.
And I have to say this is VERY unfair. Low level players are not yet committed to the game. We can't expect them to contribute like old players.
The prisons should require a total amount of SE to be built. Not builds.

My pleasure

If everybody plays their part, we will send all those queens to hell!!!
Queen lvl 45 emprisoned in W2. Queen 55 almost there.

P.S. Miklos, any break you can give us is welcome.
Dátum: 2011.02.16. 01:42:03
@Sbart
You getting 0.04% per build is absolutely normal and expected, because you are building the prison for your own queen. We will only be able to define if we are facing scenarios 1 or 2 when someone lvl 41-50 starts building for queen 55. If they get the same as you (0.04%), then we are facing scenario 2 and we are done. If they get less than you, it means we are facing scenario 1 and we will have a shot.

@Doomlord
I am a little confused. Are you saying you were able to increase your prison by 2% without reaching 1,600 builds?
But Sbart said he is also getting 0.04% per 41 build (which will add up to roughly 1.6% for 1,600, the same amount as queen 35)
Do you have building at less than 40?
If this is the case, we must celebrate becuase this means what matters is the SE invested and not the number of builds.

Cruel.
Dátum: 2011.02.15. 01:28:05
My cost is around 1,600 SE per build (40 builds) and I increase the lvl 35 prison by 0.04%. So this means my 1,600 builds will create 1.6% of the prison.
Maybe someone from queens 45 and 55 could post how much % they get for 40 builds and how much SE it costs. When queen 45 is imprisoned, guys from lvl 41-50 could see what happens. Then we can be certain of which of the 2 scenarios we have been discussing we are facing.
Scenario 1 - Lvl 41-50 guys build less (percentagewise) than lvl 51-60 guys. This is the good scenario. It means the prisons require a certain number of SE, and not builds. I believe we can make it in this case, because when lvl 65 is gone, lvls 25, 15 and 5 will be pretty easy.

Scenario 2 - This is the bad scenario. Lvl 41-50 guys build the same (percentagewise) as lvl 51-60 guys. It means the prisons require a certain number of builds, and not SE. Well, in this case, we are screwed because we won't be able to finish the low level queens.

We will figure it out in a couple of days.

Cruel.
Dátum: 2011.02.14. 11:25:48
Now you are talking!!!
This is the attitude we need. If everybody does the same, we will send all those queens to hell!!
And if you think about it, the sacrifice is not so big. We still get the luck points and what the clan loses is minimal. In my case, 1,600 build will cost around 70,000 SE. The soul well of my clan (which is not that big) produces that amount in 48h. And even for the higher level players, I am pretty sure the SE required for the 1,600 build is lower than the clan's soul well, which fills itself in less than a week. I believe it is a small price to win the event.
