You get one effect when it's equipped and another when it's not equipped. Some spiders have DD while others EH, and I guess they wanted to please them all.

That post is 6 months old, mate. He's probably forgot about that post by now. Besides, there's no Quiz Olympics any more.

I added a calculator to the main page, feel free to check it out.

The only fair solution to that problem in my opinion is to disregard loots from the CC in that competition. You should probably make a suggestion to the developers, because it does seem to be unfair the way it is now.

If you don't wear it, and you have energy harness, you get half XP if you win.

So, if you have E.H, a successful Duel is worth half the XP? When Dueling is only worth a fraction of a Hunt in the first place???

So now a Spider can hit twice as many times before leveling up???

Something was lost there in the translation. You only get half XP if they attack you and you win. You still get full XP when you attack someone.

Thanks, I changed them. I wonder why the burnt-out ancient stone quest remained unchanged, as it was changed from 20 stones to 8 on the Hungarian worlds. Maybe the devs forgot about that one.

Stekkos, could you please check the repeatable quests again? As Miklós wrote, they were changed today. They were probably changed like on the Hungarian worlds, but I want to make sure before starting to edit them.

it seems a HUGE price to pay for absolutly nothing lol, what actually is benefit of paying that price and buying the object?

if it protected Se on a loss and

It protects you from being pumped with XP. It's a toy for spiders.

Yes, that's the ultimate goal. I have a lot of other things to do, that's why the translation process is not going faster, but we'll get to the end of it sooner or later. I was hoping to find some people here who speak both Hungarian and English to help me with the translations, but apart from Kethios, it seems like there aren't many Hungarian players around.

I could use a lot of help in expanding the adventures list (don't forget the IDs if you want to send in some adventures ) and also the creature list. Although I have made important progress with the creatures, I got stuck a bit lately, and I don't get much help with them. Those are the areas to which anyone can contribute if they want to.

The several people's hard work in your project has amassed to 13 completedish pages whereas mine comes to 14 completedish pages.

You make it sound like this is a competition of some kind. Besides, the amount of work can't be measured by the number of pages. (But if you insist...the 'items by level' list alone comprises 90 pages - so far. And those are not only "completedish".)

Anyway, as I see it, you have an idea of your own, which differs from what our project intends to do. For now, this project is going to stay on wikidot, in its current layout. The main focus here is to deliver information, and to do that in a well-organized manner. I think the Hungarian wiki does that, and I don't see the need to do more in this project either. I really don't want any debate on which is more useful, your approach or ours. Each is useful in its own way. It depends on the audience, right? Some might like this, others might like that. We can cooperate, sure, but merging the two projects is not really a possibility, producing eye candy is not what we're here for. BTW, did you see ChaoticGemini's site? That is a lot closer to what you intend to create, maybe you should contact her in order to join your forces.

Otherwise, if I can help you with something, I'm available here. Thanks for linking us, I'll do the same for your site.

(Pet level+20-charisma)/24

That's the amount of morale your pet loses every hour. Healing your pet increases its morale by 1, no matter how much HP it recovers.

Well, as already several people's hard work is in this project, it wouldn't be fair to close it now. Also, while as you say, it's boring like all wiki pages, the goal isn't to entertain but to provide structured, transparent information for those who want to find out more about the game's mechanics. It's not primarily for beginners, although I think they can also find what they want to know, but they will probably come to these forums to ask first. The purpose of this page is exactly what you say, to provide raw data for those who need it. (and I think there are people who need it) If I understand correctly, your page is intended to be primarily an advertisement for the game, which means that it has a different purpose. It's mainly to attract new people and to offer guides for beginners. Therefore, I don't think it's counter-productive to keep both pages going. But of course, if you want to join our project, you're welcome. Any contribution is much appreciated.

Yes, I know. BTW, you can look up the skill IDs at the skills page and insert links as you go to the quest hints using the following syntax: [[[skill1 |Creative affinity]]]. This is a link to the internal page called skill1, with the label Creative affinity. (skill1 being the skill ID used on the site for this skill) Don't worry if they show up red, they'll change to normal after I create those pages.

I added the skills page, but for now that's all I could do, I'll add the individual skill pages later today or tomorrow.

Nice, thank you for that.

There have been some changes in the Hungarian worlds in order to make the repeatable quests more balanced. Some became easier, others harder and a new one was introduced too. (kill 2 entities) But some of the regular quests have been changed too. I guess they didn't have time to apply those changes to Doomlord yet. But it won't be hard to update the list when they do it.

Wyhetrqaxx

Can anyone pronounce that?

Thanks, I added these quests. Looks like the modifications to the repeatable quests introduced in the Hungarian worlds are not here yet. Anyway, the Quest page is complete now, you can continue adding the hints.

Kethios, I set up the page for the abilities, you can start working on it.

I noticed you posted the se next to the quests, that can be confusing since the quests do not have a fixed se value, the first you choose to complete gives 50, the next 100, etc. So every player will have different rewards for the same quest depending on when he chooses to complete it

Yes, but there is a comment which clarifies this. The SE reward is not for the quest next to which it appears, but for the one you completed before that quest became available.

Good job, stekkos. Thanks for the contribution, I think those hints are great, keep up the good work.

Kethios, I sent an invitation to your account. After accepting it, you will be able to edit pages.
Dátum: 2010.11.12. 22:35:43
OK, quest page done, you can access it from the main menu. The order of quests differs from yours, because I wanted to keep the same order as presented on the Hungarian Wiki. There are hints pages for all the quests, you can start adding your guides to those pages. So far, only the quest name and a "back" link is there on each page, you can add the hints between those two lines.

I didn't find a few of the quests on your list, so I left them with their Hungarian names. We will update them as soon as you get access to those quests.
