Alexor, I checked your logs when I wrote the previous post. In your last post, your opponent cast a spell, dealt 1450 damage with spell, and executed you. You had an execution skill of some 88 (which your clone copied). I have seen you lost the previous 4 battles too, maybe because of the same reason (unfortunately, I can check only the last battle's description).

Alexor - you play the 30 DP setting, which is hard mode. Expect to pay more attention when you play in hard mode, because opponents will not die automatically. If you have the wrong or suboptimal weapons / spells equipped - you might lose. If you attack at very low hp, while having a decent execution skill (copied by your opponet, who starts at max hp) you will lose. Make sure you have the proper equipment when you attack, and you hp is high, and you will have no problem.

Just checked out Cruel's fights, out of 37 battles, he lost 3 with a 30 DP setting. I hope it's not that bad, this is supposed to be "hard mode" If anyone else has statistics with 30 DP settings, please let me know. So far it seems it is worth using (same report from other servers).

You misunderstood, having 30 DP setting is not a disadvantage. The opponents are still killable, they just deal more damage. Rarely, you get an opponent which can be stronger than you, and as such, he might win. So out of 20 battles, you might lose 1-4. But you get +15 duel points per day which is +15 battles. So this is not punishment, or bad balance etc. It's just a choice you can make. Having 30 dp does not double your efficiency, it just increases it to some extent. Try both versions, and decide which fits you more.

Yes I missed to mention that the opponent's strength is different in 15/30 DP settings, I'm sorry for that. But even if I would, you couldn't see which is better for you without trying the difference. Also in other events, like xeno, 30 pp opponents are stronger. After all, 30 pp setting is "I want equal or stronger opponents" while 15 is "weaker opponents", and this event is using duel points.
I think it is normal than in a game, you do not get every bit of detail, statistics, maths in advance so you can immediately play the perfect strategy. This would kill exploration. I know there are games out on the market, which say "press the green button". you push it, and you get the reward. Then "press red button". You get the reward. Etc. Doomlord is not such a game. There are some things you have to discover, and sometimes you can walk a suboptimal path and lose a bit. But this makes victory only sweeter, imho.

When you use 30 duel points / day settings, you get stronger opponents. Probably this is the case with you, Alexor. If you use 15 dp setting, you will win most battles, if not all. Those who hav 30 DP setting, can battle more, we wanted to make it real hard otherwise everyone will go that way.
Your opponent is generated based on you. You can gain advantage in the fight by having a better spell and weapon (these are not generated based on your character!) and pets can make a difference - but in 30 DP setting, the opponent will have the same number of pets as you, although weaker.

Yes, I know that is a concern, but there must be a stake otherwise no one will care about tactics and only does the X attacks.
Btw, the 1st in every top10 gets diamond medal whatever his horde's ranking.

Communication between hordes: my first idea was too to add a horde tab to the chat interface. However some people pointed out that it is very easy to spy upon another horde. The most convenient way would be that each horde creates a private forum with the leadership of the big clans leaders, they discuss strategy there, and each forwards it to his own clan. If you insist, it might be possible to create the chat thing too but I'm not sure it would serve its purpose. For strategy a forum would be better than a chat.

Yes, I know, time was tight, we just finalized the event and I posted all details asap. We knew since long that people wanted something else instead of map, but spent a lot of work on the world merge program (which is still not ready).

We are introducing a new event to the game, Horde Wars. It will replace the map event, which was the least popular of all events.
The Horde Wars lasts for 3 weeks. Players of any level can participate. No registration is required.
Rules
During this event, the hordes compete each other. There will be a map, divided into 6x6 territories. Players can choose to attack any of the territories.
When you attack, you will fight an NPC doomlord. If you defeat him, your horde will receive 1 victory for that territory.
At the end of each day, we will see how the total victories of each horde are distributed between territories.
For example, the ruby horde have 1000 total victories by the end of the 5th day on the entire map. Of these, they have 100 victories on the first territory. This means they have 10% victory on that square.
The emerald horda have 3000 total victories. Of these, they have 150 victories on the first territory. So they have 5% victory on that square, therefore the ruby horde gets the point for that day.
At the end of each day, each horde gets one point for every territory they control (ie. they have the highest percentage).
At the end of the event, these points determine the rank of hordes.

When you attack a territory, you will see the standing from the end of the previous day, but you will not see the additional victories gained during that given day.
Attack costs 1 duel point and 1 event point. Event points you can collect by hunting. If you win at least 65 times a day, additional attacks will cost 2 duel points.
Fight follows the same rules as huckster wars (no drain life, you can't lose SE). You can complete the critical spell/hit quests, and the stunning as well.
During the event, SWITCHING HORDE IS NOT PERMITTED.
Map finding skill is important. If it is at least 1/3 of your level, you will heal at the end of the battles, and have greater chance to find treasures.
Rewards.
At the end of the event, participating players will receive medals, which grant +stats similar to championship medals. These medals will have a duration (until the next Horde Wars).
There will be a bronze, silver, golden, platinum and diamond medal. Which you receive will depend on the rank of your horde and the number of victories you achieve. You can get a diamond medal even if your horde is third if you have enough victories.
Also, after each victorious battle, you will receive soul-energy, xp (same way as with the huckster event), and with some chance, treasure.
One of the treasures will be the horde trophy. Collect a number to exchange them for relic coupons and 2 unique relics.
Although the event will run for all worlds combined, there will be separate top10 lists for each worlds (number of victories and number of healing potions used). Top10 in each list will receive additional horde trophies.
During the event, we will be offering a package on daily offers which you can buy twice per day at most (t will contain duel and action point potion, healing potion and other goodies).

The event starts on 16th of October, 8am EST (14pm CET). You can start collecting event points already from this Friday (11th of Oct).
The event lasts for 21 days.

We can do it in the future, I think the reason why it wasn't implemented so far, we did not want to make the interface more complicated (many people play the game from phones).
We added crystal horde for W4 to increase numbers of targets.
We want to make sure everyone can find enough targets during the Huckster Wars. We added extra crystal doomlords for every level today. You can also buy the Frozen Heart amulet (under relics) and the subplasma pack (under misc) to help find more targets. Please also check your duel settings! There are 2 options: you either get 30 duel points and can attack only equal or higher level players (this is the default for a new char!) or you get 15 duel points and can attack lower levels too. If you have the first setting, we recommend to change to the other. Please be aware though that the setting will reset your duel points. Good luck everyone!

You can start a 2nd or 3rd char on the corresponding worlds. But there are many problems with having multiple characters in the same clan: one used for "building slave" giving support to each other etc. So you can play multiple characters, but they can't be in the same clan.

Highscore, top50, Lady Alvariel will be joined for all 3 worlds. Bricks will be put into a common pool. And yes, a W1 char can join a W2 lan.

If a duel includes a W3 character, SE loss/gain will follow the W3 rules (but W3 chars will have the option to continue by W1 rules).

Epic adventures are now live! From level 100, there is 10% chance for each adventure to be epic. Tasks and battles in epic adventures are harder, but at the end you get extra reward: temple crystal, 2 common reward from wheel of fortune, and if you are a premium member, you get an additional reward: either a relic shard, or a common or rare reward from wheel of fortune. The epic adventures are highlighted on your adventure list so you can easily recognize them.
