So, it's been over one year since I created this thread and nothing has happened. Game keeps losing veterans and the influx of new players is close to null. Are we doing something about it or are we letting the game die?

Mid-May championship had the below players fighting for it:

As you can see there are only 10 players up to cat 14 (lvls 35-38), which clearly shows the game hasn't been able to attract new players. Several suggestions have been made to address this issue, but nothing seems to have been implemented.

The idea to add new players at level 60 is excellent, but it faces 2 major problems:
1 - The SE given is very low.
2 - First, you need to create interest in the game so that lower level guys decide to create a char in W4 in the first place. In my opinion, changing the way clans work and allowing newbies to join veteran clans would be fundamental to make this happen.

Anyway, the point is that all veterans love the game and we are all very concerned with its future. We have just had a veteran loss in our clan and all losses really hurt the game badly, as there is no fresh blood to keep it going.

I believe 1:1 would be a fair ratio... But if you are right and it is much lower, then I was incredibly lucky on that particular hunting session, as I found 26/34.

It seems to be great news on the super fetish!

Regarding the astral treasures, I understand the concept and I am fine with with it. I still don't think that's how reality is though. I have just gone on 36 hunts and found 2 astral treasures in none of them. I found 1 treasure in 26 hunts, 2 pets (apparently, we can't find treasures in pets) and no treasure in 8 hunts. My added ability is 118.

I am not gonna sugarcoat for you. You will have a very hard time getting new players to your clan simply because there is not a big enough influx of new players to the game. And this is a shame because this game is great! Good luck and you can count on us veterans to help you all the way. Hopefully, game developers will make it possible for you to join the big clans in the near future because clan benefits really make a difference in Doomlord.

I agree Yellow must receive the same treatment as the others, i.e. the benefit should be the ability to get extra mks using the same amount of resources.

I think you misunderstood how the counter works. It is not a percentage of the hits on that specific square. Instead, it is a percentage of the total hits of each clan on each square. So if your adversary hits 10 squares, 1 hit on each, they will have 10% in all those squares. So if you hit 65 times on that square and you clan has a total of 1,000 attacks, your ownership will be 6.5% and you will lose that square. Number of attacks is only considered as a tie breaker.

This is not the point. Thing is we have an event (Spring Festival) that offers 2 major rewards. And both rewards are not so good. Especially considering "This myto thingy is just a little extra", as you said. In previous events, we got a Fetish for 100 collectibles, which is a much more adequate prize. My suggestion was simply to convert 2 very lame items into 2 "a little lame" items.

I am fine with long term plans, but to get from 1 to 200, it takes almost 20,000 mytokronits. So if we hunt 50 times per day and have the skill maxed, we will get 25 grey mks per day, taking almost 800 days to get the required 20,000. Not to mention the green ones. Not sure we can get 20,000 of them in 800 days. And that's for each minion

Regarding the prizes for this event, I think they are a little bit under par. The Emerald Mytocondensator costs 100 chalices and offers double the Green Mytokronits (this is fine) and triple bonus XP to minion crystals. Second benefit is too little. If I get my minion's Experience Ability to 30 (which costs a LOT already!), I will get just an additional 30 XP, making it 1030 per crystal. That is not very exciting. If you make it 10x instead of 3x, it will start to become interesting. And the Crystal Mytoaffinity is too expensive. At 50 chalices, its "payback" compared to buying the mytokronits directly is 100 days, with the disadvantage that I can't choose which color I will get. I suggest you increase the mytokronit pack from a single mytokronit to 2.

Would you please give us 24 hours to complete the event tasks on day 1? I don't understand why it starts at 10am and ends at midnight. It should either start at midnight and end at midnight or start at 10am and end at 10am. Personally, I have a lot of difficulty completing the tasks on day 1 due to this much shorter availability.

The only thing that comes to mind at this point is that Xeno Wars will offer the chance to get only 1 Fetish shard. And the other 8 shards will not be available in the next 6 months. So, in the next Xeno Wars, whoever gets the fetish now, will not be allowed to get another one, making the option to get it today "a waste".

Would you please clarify why you don't think we should get the Fetish shard? Does it mean we will have a chance to get 10 of them simultaneously in the future? Because if we are getting one every 3-4 months, getting this one right now means we will have all 10 required to build the powerful fetish 3-4 months earlier, right?

It is quite the contrary actually. In statistical terms, with only one minion to choose, the chance of having more "clones" is WAY HIGHER than with the option to choose 3 or 4 minions. Particularly if you consider that one of these minions gives XP to all other minions. So I am betting a high percentage of the players is using this minion as their active minion at the moment. Allowing us to activate 2 or 3 more minions is exactly what will create diversity.

One of the possible items to purchase now with chitins is a "Fetish Shard". Is it the same item we collected a while ago or is it the second piece of the "collect them all charade"?

P.S. Given we will need to collect pieces to form this new fetish, I assume it will be quite powerful. Not sure if you have something in mind already, but in case you don't, here is my suggestion: how about making it a "bond fetish"? (ok, I know how it sounds ) What would it do? If we had a minion wearing this bond fetish, we could bond 2 (or 3) other minions to it, allowing us to have 3 (or 4) active minions at a time.

During hunt, you can find astral treasure, if one or more of your minions have the treasure ability. Each minion (including the passive ones) make a roll depending on its treasure skill. You get 1 astral treasure for each successful roll.


It is clear to me that our chances to find them increase if we have several pets with the ability. But can get more than one treasure per hunt if we have more than one pet looking for them?

The update looks nice. Thanks Miklos.

Here are my first impressions:

- Green --> +1 XP per fight is nice, but +1 XP per crystal/feeding is too low, almost irrelevant. I suggest you increase the effect for those 2 activities.
- Orange --> Not sure how it works. When active, do I get 1% chance of dodging the opponent's attack per level? There seems to be a cap at the opponent's pet level that makes no sense, since most pets are over lvl 100. And when passive (I assume this means the minion is not active, right?), it does nothing. My absorption is unchanged.

I haven't tried Red and White yet.

manu and jany are absolutely right. We've had some players interested in joining, but our soul well makes it simply impossible. And some of these players end up quitting the game due to low activity in the low levels. Being part of a strong clan would definitely help us keep some of these players since they would have lots of support from the veterans.

I think there should thresholds for building utilization instead of the necessity to complete the soul well. Anyone would be able join strong clans, but they would only be allowed to use certain buildings after completing a predetermined total building amount. Here is a possible alternative.

Building - Minimum building
Ramp/TG/Necrofun - 100,000 per level, so if total building is 500,000, player would get +15 (+3*5)
Arena - No minimum required
Scrying Orb - No minimum required
Mage Tower - 50,000 per level
Curse Pyramid - No minimum required
Soul/Aura Shield - 50,000 per level
Palace - 10,000 per level
DG - 100,000 per level
Kennel - 80,000 per level
Epic Monument 2 - 5,000,000
Academy - No minimum required
Magic Hut - 50,000 per level
TC - 100,000 per level
Pit - 200,000 per level
Healing Sanctum - 200,000 per level
Alchemy Lab - 200,000 per level
Castle - 300,000 per level
Tree of Knowledge - 500,000 per level
Evolution Chamber - 2,000,000 for each 20 levels
Crystallizer - 200,000 per level
Pyramid - No minimum required
Energy Sanctum - 100,000 per level

These are just some random numbers I am throwing according to the my personal opinion on importance/difficulty for each building. Of course the final number would be different, but I think we should stick to the concept. In summary, vital buildings would be available right away and the other buildings would slowly give the new players better benefits as he/she increased his total building.
