There is no way to say from 6 (or 12) attacks if the formula is right or not. Random is random, and you might hit that particular opponent 6 times out of 6 or miss him with all 6 attacks. Neither of these results means that the formula is wrong.
One thing I miss in your comparison is clan building bonuses - If you are attacking who I think you are, these bonuses are not insignificant.

About the eternal discussion on Emerald vs Ruby; It is a give and take. Maybe Emerald players are easier to develop, but when you start getting significant Soul Drain you want more Attack to capitalize on it. And I can only imagine that the Ruby bonus is actually more valuable at that point than on low levels.

About the "do defence also lower damage?" I agree that it is silly if there are extra stuff in the game that we are not told and are very hard to detect (or find out).

What is known as the "Light Year"?
1 year
Light's age
10 years
The distance travelled by light in 1 year

I think this should be "a light year" and nor "the Light year". The later implies that it is a specific light year that is asked about.

Commander of what branch of German army was Ernst Roehm-WW2?
Wehrmacht (army)
SS-Schutzstaffel
Kriegsmarine (Navy)
SA-Sturmabteilung

I had to read this question a few times before I realized what was actually asked (and the guys name is Ernst Röhm).
Would suggest to change the question to:
"What branch of the army did Ernst Röhm command in Nazi Germany?" (He actually died before WW2, so i don't know what that is doing in the question)

According to the guidelines given in this post odd-one out questions should be filtered. Yet there is an ever increasing amount of these (odd-one out) questions in the database. Could we get a final answer to how odd-one out questions are suppose to be handled by the evaluators? Are they ok or not?

There are hundreds of questions that can't be categorized. Your example is only one more.
Another very obvious one is when a question is about a sport that is not listed. There should at least an option named "Other Sports". I have been categorizing basketball questions as soccer

Cruel.

Categorize them as "Sport" instead. Nothing forces you to use a sub-category.

Having said that, I still think the entire list of Categories need an overhaul.

Were did berserker's come from?
England
South america
Afrika
Norway <-- Marked as correct

This isn't exactly true. Berserkers were warriors fighting in an uncontrollable rage according to Norse literature sources. The Norse however, are not the same as Norwegian, but rather collective term used to refer to the Norse-speaking Germanic tribes who inhabited Scandinavia in the Middle Ages. Depending on what time the question refers to the answer should be either "Scandinavia" (from where the Vikings originated) or "Scandinavia, England, Ireland, France, Russia and some parts of Europe", if areas that they conquered and settled in later is included.
If the question is kept i would suggest changing the answer to "Scandinavia" and changing "England" to "Japan" to remove any ambiguity.

Also, "Afrika" should be "Africa" and "South america" should be "South America".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norsemen

EDIT
Can't believe I missed that. Of course Were should be Where and there shouldn't be an apostrophe (it is a simple plural not a possessive).

with respect to the stimulator relic for our familiars.....since it is a relic, does this mean we can only up our familiar's level the one time??? guess we have to be really careful when we buy it then.

I asked the same, and after I bought it it doesn´t show up under your Relics and you can still buy it from the Soul-Huckster. So it appears that you can buy it several times.

This new patch still hasn't brought the Relic to increase the base level of the familiars. Any forecast on when this will be available?

Cruel.

Found this one now, but I have a question about it. Since it is a Relic, and you can only have one of any Relic, does this only work once? I mean, shouldn´t we be able to raise the level of our Familiar(s) more than once in the game?

rain, reign, rein are the only homonyms by any rule so it is not ambiguous. If there is still objection about them being actual homonyms please specify about that. By what you said they can be accepted.

"In linguistics, a homonym is, in the strict sense, one of a group of words that share the same spelling and the same pronunciation but have different meanings." (emphasis mine)
According to this rain, reign, rein are not honomyms. But maybe it is ok with quiz questions that are almost correct now?

According to this fluke is a homonym, since it can mean
* A fish, and a flatworm.
* The end parts of an anchor.
* The fins on a whale's tail.
* A stroke of luck.

Who invented the BALL POINT PEN?
Biro Brothers <--- Marked as correct
Write Brothers
Waterman Brothers
Bicc Brothers

Some reading shows that the first (known) patent for a ball pen was issued to John Loud 1888. It appears that the Biro brothers develpoed their pen independently of the Loud patent, and the Loud patent was forgotten about for a long time (since the design was never commercialised). But the ballpoint pen was still invented by John Loud, not the Biro brothers.

Which set of words are all homonyms of each other?
ran, raan, rann
rain, ran, reign
wren, ran, run
rain, reign, rein <--Marked as correct

"In linguistics, a homonym is, in the strict sense, one of a group of words that share the same spelling and the same pronunciation but have different meanings. Thus homonyms are simultaneously homographs (words that share the same spelling, irrespective of their pronunciation) and homophones (words that share the same pronunciation, irrespective of their spelling)."
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homonym)
So according to that the answer above is a set of homophones, not homonyms.

Other sources are less strict (http://www.editingandwritingservices.com/homonyms.html) although Merriam-Webster online dictionary supports the notion that the words have to be both spelled and pronounced the same to be homonyms (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/homonym).

I'm no linguist, but to me it looks like it could be slightly different between different languages (i.e. American vs British English) and/or that the definition have changed over time. Anyhow, the question looks a bit ambiguous to me.

Odd one out is ok, if a lot of one kind start flooding the quiz (like asking which country is not a...) then are rejected as already in database.

The why it this "- Odd-one-out questions and questions about capitals are filtered. We have enough questions about capitals, thank you very much. Odd-one-out questions are always ambiguous, because any of the answers can be accepted from a certain perspective. Getting back to filtering, if your question is rejected, please don’t submit it again using spelling mistakes, because it will be rejected as well. Please accept that the system will not accept it. And please also note that any questions containing vulgar/offensive words are also rejected." still in the http://forum.doomlord.net/index.php/topic,14.0?

@Stekkos
This is one clear example of where "what everyone knows is right" is actually wrong. By letting questions like this into the quiz, people are affirmed in their belivies, even when they are wrong.
I am not going to argue any more about the posion question, but I still belive that a small change is warranted.
