In my opinion, there is no need to complicate rules too much. But I love the idea of +2/+3 higher items for twice/triple amount of map pieces. A person should be able to get a relevant reward independently of the team, if it performs outstanding - without having to switch there and back - which makes some strategy, but brings strange results.

I can't understand the story at all (although answered correctly). At least 3 of that countries are very original and distinctive - and I believe 99.99999...% of their population do not feel they are under some other culture influence... Maybe I am totally wrong thinking of this question trivia - please explain?

It seems to be a very widely spread name. After just a minute search I have found Cave of the Winds in Colorado (http://caveofthewinds.com/) and at Niagara Falls (although it is only a tour name, it can be misleading - http://www.niagarafallslive.com/cave_of_the_winds.htm).
Moreover, a place that is presumed in the question is referred to not as "Cave of the winds", but "Wind cave" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_Cave_National_Park

I agree. Even though the composition of the question is interesting, it is more for discussion than for quiz. Just imagine - provided that you have access to many books on history (in our case - via google) - would you be happy to get this question at the entrance university exam?

So at least an approximate answer should be asked for.

2) By volume or by weight? It will make a huge difference! As the question is completely theoretical, I can pretend solutions for both cases.

3) Not an objection, as it actually moves the 1.3 million calculation closer to 1 million given in the quiz answer - but "Earths" cannot be packed inside the Sun without voids left. It would reduce the number of "Earths" by ~1/3 for volume-based calculations - so not an objection in fact, only note.

Oh, dear. I work with alcohols a lot, so believe me, most of them smell.
Ethanol - which is major alcoholic part of drinks - has very sharp smell. Try vodka - it should contain nothing except ethanol and water. Is it odorless? If yes, don't buy vodka there next time! (oh, I found its description on wiki - not sharp, but "Alcohols have an odor that is often described as “biting” and as “hanging” in the nasal passages.")
As for wine, its smell is not only due to ethanol, but is modified by other "0.5% of the things". Trust me, many of these "other things" chemically are alcohols (although it is known that esters and thiols are odorants providing flexibility in composing).

And my comment was not only about the quiz question itself, but about your reply on "odorless alcohol".

Only 2 of the languages listed in the question are isolate according to classification. So, "Germanic" and "Greek" are possible answers.
Greek is a part of Hellenic languages (but AFAIK Greek is the only language in this group currently spoken). So Germanic might be an option, but... Germanic is not a language! It is a language family... anf even if we mean German - how it can be isolate?

So, I have two objections. I am not sure I am correct, but would be nice to see others' opinions.
1) Is Germanic used by mistake instead of German presumed? If so, why it is isolated?
2) If trivia is that Germanic is a language family and thus is not language (and further, not an isolate language), do you feel any ambiguity about Greek language as the only representative of Hellenic family?

Or maybe there is more strict list of isolates I failed to find?

It would be strictly 7 if you add "distilled under inert" to the question. Under normal athmospheric conditins even immediately after distillation pH is below 7 due to contact with carbon dioxide always present in air.

This seems extremely condition-dependent to me. At least, country-specific, and I do not believe there exist word-wide data on this.
