'All of the Above' makes sense because Genesis contains TWO contradictory stories, the 7 days of creation and adam & eve.

It might seem so but in reality is not. I have read that part of Genesis and is actually very clear: First plants (3rd day) then sea life and birds (5th) land animals (6th) and end of 6th day, Adam. Eve was created a bit later from him.

in the story of adam & eve, man was created first, then plants and animals, and finally, woman. this differs from the sequence of the 7 days of creation. that's what makes this interesting.

As i said, it seems so. But what actually happened is that God created humans last, but prepared a special place (garden of eden ) for them. Thats what He did after, just planted a small part of the Earth with a specific purpose, for the first humans to live in. The rest of the planet was already there with vegetation and animals. Humans were to multiply and make the whole of the Earth into the same paradise as the garden of Eden was.

Editing the question's answers would solve the problem. Note that not all users share the Christian religion meaning we have members that never ever read the Holy Bible therefore have no knowlege about the Genesis.
