I just had a question about the king and queen of Vegas in the 50's with a jazz act. I spent so much time trying to verify the answer that I didn't get the exact wording of the question and still never found a source to verify the claim.

I am not going to dig through everything to find the exact link that points out the odd one out guideline. It has always been there, many of us have just looked the other way for some questions. The rules we were given as evaluators says, "Odd one out questions - We do not want this kind of questions, no matter what is the phrasing. I use the „Badly shaped question” explanation for these."

That question was mine and I fully disagree with the rejection. Specially because I lost the right to another question!
Regarding the mice thing, I obviously referred to humans (Ok, it is not in the question, but I could have received my right to a question back and I would have included it at the end). Anyway, I found an article from the NY Times published in 82 (yes, that is right!!! - http://www.nytimes.com/1982/06/18/us/transplant-success-reported-with-part-of-a- mouse-s-brain.html) about a successful partial transplant. It seems 30 years is time enough to develop any progress with human transplant (which did not occur!!!).
Just because some people believe it might be possible one day does not mean it will.
The fact is that it is not possible today and the answer is absolutely correct.
