From what kind of wall built did New York's famous Wall Street derive its name?
Wall built to keep foxes and other preying animals out of the city.
Wall built to keep the Dutch out of the city.
Wall built to keep the Indians and British out of the city.*

I had to hunt for this answer and according to google the only answer I get was and I quote:
"The famous home of the New York Stock Exchange and other financial institutes was named after, believe it or not, a wall (also palisade) built by the Dutch in the 1600s across what was then the north side of settled Manhattan Island to keep out invaders." quote taken from http://www.inetours.com/New_York/Pages/NYC_Streets.html
It does not mention any particular invaders so I would question the british & indians part of the answer as they were not always considered enemies or invaders. Especially not in the 1600's. (100 + years before the american revolution, and trade with indians was not uncommon.
Not only that, but, when you google this question the most you get is that it was named after a wall built by the dutch and thats all it says unless you open the links up to get more info.

I may be late in posting this but the song Beth was written by a member of kiss at a time when the band wanted to try something different and so each member of the band put out a solo album. Not before the band kiss formed. I remember because i bought the album.

until recently pluto & mercury were both planets. And I, for one, do not agree with the theory that pluto is a moon because of it's smaller size. Also, because I'm older than probably most players here, I remember this stuff.

Maybe rewording the question to something like 'as of 2009 which is of these is a planet?'

If you start with poor spelling, it should read 'How many 'liters' in one 'gallon'?', and then there is the fact that the answer is 3.785 so technically there is no correct answer listed. The correct answer is actually 3 liters as there is not quite a fourth liter in there.

I googled the whole square vs rectangle thing to see what would come up and found this which is very interesting. If you are curious check out this site http://math4allages.wordpress.com/2010/07/26/is-a-square-a-rectangle-2/ and see what is says. it is expalined for the perspective of a school child.

in a nut shell yes they are the same on the basic premse of what is a rectangle but it goes a little further to say this...'a square can be a rectangle but a rectangle can never be a square.' and that, i believe, is the basis for this argument.

On this one I can see both sides of the argument.

Radar men from the moon is the name of the show .. it was a series actually... very old B+W and the answer is Commander Cody. I only know this because I have the complete series on DVD from when I was really into old sci-fi.

As far as the song you posted... i've never heard of it, but that is not surprising because it doesn't sound like something I would listen to ... but i would google it all the same to get the answeer ... i google lyrics at least 3-4 times a week for other things and never have a problem finding them.

Not taking anyones side just posting a lil info. I don't understand a lot of what gets passed and what doesn't... yesterday I had to answer a question about a sports figures paycheck and I never heard of him, the sport was not mentioned and in my opinion is definately what should be considered select knowledge. but it got passed.... the eval must know who it is i guess.

Do you mean to tell me that this question was pulled from the database because 75% of the people asked don't know the basic rule of oppposites attract ????
And, because of their apparent lack of knowledge that I am once again penalized with a black mark on my record????
And people wonder why the forums are so hot with upset people...

There are multiple search engines out there including Google, Yaho, Bing, Ask, etc:..., and yet the mods cannot find these answers easily. I guess we will need to make our questions easier to find answers to.
My next question will probably be something like ' what is the sum of 2+2?' Of course that will be evaluated as specific knowledge known only by a select few ... yeah ... only those with at least 5 total fingers or toes !!!

I got the questionj wrong, not that I am really worried about it, just think the question could have been more specific. If it refers to all national flags it should be reworded to specify that. If it is a specific flag, it should say that. European flags, Communist flags, American flags, etc...

How does a lvl 15 doomlord acquire lvl 18 items to fight with and a lvl 34 pet?

I am getting farmed regularly by someone I can't get away from .. even invisible I am getting hosed.
I only get attacked when I have SE and not at any other time, so either they have a way of seeing when you have SE, or they are damned lucky... so lucky they should be putting all their money into lottery tickets instead of playing this game.

But, anyways, if someone can answer my question i would appreciate it so I can work on getting weapons higher than my lvl and fight back.

The error in this question is that it is not answerable by everyone in the game. if you are not in a clan or have not founded your own clan yet how would you know the answer to this game ????

That being said and with the amount of game related questions rejected for the same reason I ask that this question be removed from the quiz game. In my opinion and the opinion of the evaluators game related questions should not be in the game unlkess they are answerable by someone who has just started playing the game.

They aren't.... however Moscow, Kiev, Almaty, & Minsk are cities. If you resubmit the question without those cities in it, it may go through, but then I don't evaluate questions. I'm just adding my 2 cents.
For what it's worth I think it's as valid a question as most of the other that deal with who was born where.

If north of Panama is North America, And South of Panama is South America, Where does that leave Panama??

I know that PAnama is considered part of Central AMerica, and, if you subscribe to the theory that north and south are diffeent continents, then Panama could technically be a third continent as it is Central America. The rub there is that Central Americe is not considered the divider, Mexico is, which is north of Central America/Panama. Basically it depends on whenther you subscribe to the 5, 6, or 7 continent model.

The question gives the answer to you. 'Based on the way Magnets attract' ... when it comes to magnets... opposites attract. The Geographical North Pole would have to be a magnetic 'South Pole' in order for a compass to point towards it... ie.. point north.
At the very least it's a 50/50 shot between the first 2 answers given. If it were any simpler, then what would be the use of asking questions???? just give everyone a extra 5 or 10% to their SE when hunting and do away with the questions.

This is a question I submitted, and, I might have agreed with the evaluation if not for the fact that I posted this question as a result of another question asking me to idenify the colors of another countries flag. If I am supposed to know the colors of another countries flag, why can't someone in another country know about my flag ??
I find the Evaluators to be very one-sided in their evaluations of the submitted questions. If this is a paid position, where do I sign up, I can sit around and reject questions for stupid reasons too, and I guarantee there wil never be a back log of questions waiting to be answered because I can reject most of them too. For the same reasons, lack of desire to verify questions.
