As to winners of the Nobel Prize in literature, I think very few people know more than one or two, if any of them.

The Nobel Price is not awarded for selling many books, or being widely known.

Personally I read a lot of books, but had no idea José Saramago was a writer let alone a winner of the Nobel Price in literature, prior to reading this post.

And I must agree with Viridel that those "which is not" questions are generally not good, as they require a lot of research for people that do not happen to know them. This is specially true for questions about books, film, and music involving productive artists.

I just got two "Important game notice" e-mails for my world 2 character.
The 1st was sent 2010-10-17 at 14:15 and said I had not been logged in for 2 days. I was logged in at that time.
The 2nd was sent 2010-10-18 at 02:55 and said I had not been logged in for 4 days. My last battle where I attacked was at 2010-10-17 21:16.

I have two characters on different servers, one is a dueller the other is a hunter. The way the game is made up, I will eventually run out of quests that I can do, due to all 3 spaces being filled.
The dueller will lose his competitiveness if he starts hunting while the hunter has no chance of completing several of the duel quests.

And Yes I also think it's a bit strange that quests actually cost SE, so coupled with the above I have almost stopped doing them.

Sorry but I think this question as it is stated is nonsense, the answer is easy enough to guess though, (and the idea behind it is good: What was Michael Jackson also known as? or What was Michael Jacksons title?) so I guess it will not be deleted, but I think a possible refusal category should be added for questions like this. Something indicating that the question only makes sense from the possible answers.

Not really, that honer goes to hydrogen. Hydrogen can be made by combining an e electron with a positron, and both those subatomic particles can be and have been made from other elements, and later combined into Hydrogen.

Not sure I would call this an error, he was from a part of Austria that lies in modern day Croatia, but as Austria is not a possible answer it's OK. Do I need a skill of 1 or 100 to achieve the reduction of 30 damage, in your example, or are there other factors involved? or is it 30% reduction based on a skill level, or a chance.

Secondary attack damages the creature with a percentage of the damage the owner is hit with, equal to the skill level of the one hitting. So if my opponent has a secondary attack skill of 15, and my hard skin level is 0, my pet takes 15% of the damage I do, so if I get hit for 120HP my pet would lose 16HP. If my hard skin level is say 5, how much damage do my creature take? 15 HP (95% of the 16HP), 12HP (10% of the damage I take), or 11HP? or something else entirely?

Erm, on another note, no planet except for Earth has yet been proven to support life, there are indications that Mars might have supported life earlier in it's history, but it has not been proven conclusively
As for Gliese 581g all that is known is that it's a planet between 3.1 and 4.3 Earth masses, in the liquid-water temperature zone of it's star. See the Full research paper or Sky and telescopes blog article about it, for more information.

I have tried to find some information on the skill "hard skin" but all I have been able to find is the description also found on the skills page, except in Hungarian, which google doesn't translate well enough for me to make any sense out of. Except that it does not reduce the damage below 1.

So my question is, how much does the skill help in protecting your pet from damage?

The point of having more than one pet is to get more damage, if the pets absorption did stack, you would end up in a situation where no-one could damage someone with 3 or 4 high level pets.

In your examples one pet with 40 absorption protects you from 40 damage and deals up to around 20 damage, per combat round, the 4 with an average of 35 protects you from 35 damage, but deals up to around 4 x 16 per combat round.

So you'd still win more fights with the 4 pets.

P.s. I'm not 100% sure of the exact damage numbers per pet at different levels, but they are not totally off.

1st I never got a response to whether I answered the question right or wrong (a hunt ended just as I clicked the answer button) so I don't know what answer is marked as correct.
2nd Whatever the correct answer in the quiz, in the USA a tomato is legally a vegetable, (there is a supreme court ruling stating that,) but for the rest of us its a fruit.

I'm lower level than you, and spent around 50% of what you did, so why did I only get 1/3rd the reward?

Just did some maths on the value of the reward I got:

I spent ~140k SE (Used SE: 10.400 Effective charge: 7.921) killing 168 goblins. Buying the ability levels I received as a reward, would have cost me ~290k SE. In addition I was penalized with 5712 xp (yes xp is a bad thing in this game).

Had I gained those same xp hunting, I would have received 100-120k SE, a bit less than the bonus. Hunting however would not have given me the 3 relics, or the SE and items I looted from the goblins, nor as many burnt out ancient stones.

So all in all a nice reward for my efforts... Now I just wonder if I should have spent more SE on the event, but that's to late now.

If the question had been "Which of the following is not a national capital city?" it would have been correct.

Nice reward, does the increase make the next levels of your abilities that much more expensive? Or is it like the bonus from equipment and clan buildings?

And it seems to me the value of the reward depends heavily on your current ability level.
For instance if you have an ability at 100 increasing it will cost you 9900 SE, and increasing it 10 levels, will cost you 110,385 SE, if the ability is 80 the numbers are 6300 and 72,185 respectively.

The difference of the levels of players abilities within the same overall level is at least 30% (The highest level 24 player has an Ability Total of 415 and the lowest is at 214) If they both spend the same amount of SE and get the same bonus, the value of the bonus will not be the same.
