Well, my W1 character is on 14.734 used SE and the multiplier is 0.0448.

So 14.734/0.0448=328.883 SE did I use so far.

I don't remember the multiplier in the Hun version.

About the effective SE charge:

I talked to one of the admins and requested that they should display the effective charge below the used SE in order to be able to keep track of where we are on the list of EC.

Zarknod is a great event. Noone ever said you have to participate in it. It is a chance to get rewards for killing gnomes, not only waiting for the hunts to end and spend the SE you get. You can get Ability points, Luck, burnt out ancient stones, also free levels of infection decrease.

Zarknod is an event that will be held again in the near future so if someone made mistakes in the first one, can simply learn from them and act wisely in the next one.

I still think it is a good thing that we - users - are given this event.

On W1 we need like 300k more SE. It will end soon, and we can discuss the experiences.

As long as I know, the reward will be calculated from the SE you'd gain normally at the level you are when the event is over. So the last multiplier counts. Meaning if you level up during Zarknod, you'll benefit from it.

Nice reward, does the increase make the next levels of your abilities that much more expensive? Or is it like the bonus from equipment and clan buildings?

And it seems to me the value of the reward depends heavily on your current ability level.
For instance if you have an ability at 100 increasing it will cost you 9900 SE, and increasing it 10 levels, will cost you 110,385 SE, if the ability is 80 the numbers are 6300 and 72,185 respectively.

The difference of the levels of players abilities within the same overall level is at least 30% (The highest level 24 player has an Ability Total of 415 and the lowest is at 214) If they both spend the same amount of SE and get the same bonus, the value of the bonus will not be the same.

Since those bonuses are permanent, it increases the cost of the next point upgrade.

bonus will depend on the SE spent/gnomes killed/level and most likely the current points you have.

Kethios, does owning the "Locket of the Tireless" prevent you from finding the "Orb of Duel"?

Currently I'm at kill 161 and still no orb. (Level 10 character)

Having both relics plus the acceleration options totals to 5 duels hourly.

I have the acceleration plus the orb and it gives me 4 duesl. I don't have the locket. I think Locket gives the 5th.. otherwise it wouldn't have any sense.

is it possible to have the relics show up as actual pictures, not just the words + description?

As weve nearly finished stage 1 on world 3 (at last) would it be possible to have a smaller used SE target for stage 2, as were not as advanced as the other 2 worlds.

You have to scroll over the text to see the relics on your character page however there are times when it won't show their pictures. Weird thing. Probably the script has a bug.

I'm really thinking that having both Locket of the Tireless and the Orb of Duel might be impossible since everything apart from the name and pic are technically the same. Is this as it's supposed to be or a technical flaw?

It's been over 100+ kills since I looted the second artefact and that amounts to 0.5 of my total kills. These last 100 ish kills gave me 9 amulets/rings and numerous amounts of potions. Since I'm a low level (11) spending that amount of se is something and it would be quite a bugger if I don't manage to get that orb before the event is finished, which unfortunately will be today.

I have over 140 kills but I only got 2 rings and potions apart from the Magic absorber and the Orb of duel.

Yes I noticed it too. I also checked the HUN version's worlds and it works the same way so I think it's made that way for a reason.

What happens to the -5% infection if my character is not level 19 yet? Is it saved or wasted?

Just did some maths on the value of the reward I got:

I spent ~140k SE (Used SE: 10.400 Effective charge: 7.921) killing 168 goblins. Buying the ability levels I received as a reward, would have cost me ~290k SE. In addition I was penalized with 5712 xp (yes xp is a bad thing in this game).

Had I gained those same xp hunting, I would have received 100-120k SE, a bit less than the bonus. Hunting however would not have given me the 3 relics, or the SE and items I looted from the goblins, nor as many burnt out ancient stones.

So all in all a nice reward for my efforts... Now I just wonder if I should have spent more SE on the event, but that's to late now.
