Mandal borders Lindesnes to the west and northwest, Marnardal to the north, Søgne to the east. It is the southernmost town of Norway and the skerry Pysen (south of the town) is the southernmost point of land.

No-one knows. It depends on the category of people you are sampling. If they are the average adult, when they were young they were sometimes forced to use their right hand. Nowadays, it's more natural. The first google said 88%, so I was lucky, but still, the second link said 93%...

All of them are capital cities. Bangalore is the capital city of the state of Karnataka in India. Even if it isn't a traditional capital city, it's still ambiguous.

Does no-one else feel it's wrong to have to lose SE to just to complete a quest??
It's a nice idea for a quest, but it is a large drain which I don't think is fair. It's not just this one either, the one 2 levels above me will be the same, and I can't ignore it because otherwise I will only get to do one quest at a time, defeating the object of having a list of 3 to choose from.

I like that this has been done so quickly and efficiently!! When I first saw this topic I was thinking it's going to jam packed with conflicting ideas but I am pleasantly surprised.

I like the idea, and I don't want to be too critical, but it sounds the same as an Epic battle basically (which are great), though we already have that function. Although I think it will be fun, I believe the best events are something which add another dimension to the game or simply variety. As a first event created by players (excluding hungarian servers) it is proof of the games flexibility.

The reward for completing the "Let the level of each of your equipped main items (weapon, armour, shield, spell) be the same as yours!" for me was 21.650 soul-energy.

At level 47, the equipment cost me 17343*4=69434 (actually more than that because one cost ancient stones). I sold the equipment on for 5287*4=21148.

So I actually made a loss of 26000 for a quest. That doesn't make sense?? I mean ok, if I wanted to use the equipment then that would be ok, but only the spell was better than my current equipment so I don't like the quest. I also see another quest for 2 levels above my character and I fear I will have the same problem again.

The only other quest with a loss is the one where you have to lose 20k in net SE from duels. However, there is an option to have a base stat of 90 so there is a way out of making a loss... why can't there be the same in this??

I don't know what it was like at the lower levels, but I do know it must be very very difficult to generate a formula to treat every persons soul energy exactly in proportion with their level.

I think the formula for the horde contributions must've been a little skewed too, what with Sapphire and Ruby so far behind.

I would like to say that every AP after level 44 went into this event. Whether it was +10 attributes to cope with the battles or raw SE itself, I did put a lot of effort into the event, yet I was still beaten by lower levels.

Hrus, it's based on SE, so the SE you spent on those points into attack = the soul energy deducted

The soul energy gained in attributes is constant once the event is over, but the cost of increasing the attribute raises, so effectively, the gain in attributes diminishes. That explains why players with high attributes who put lots in get much less increase than low attributes with lots of SE input.

So if you had 100k worth of attributes from the event, it could equal +2 to all stats, but put 3 levels in attack to go from 100 to 103 and the number required to do +2 to all stats goes up, so you can't afford to do +2 and instead do +1's.

If there was a complete list of costs of attributes from 20-whatever (or even a formula) then it would be easier to generate a better estimate of what someone could get.

So, I don't think investing into abilities during the event has a lot to do with it (not with what you're talking about anyway, the developers might have included it). It's only after you are awarded the attributes (but not collected) that the attribute reward changes.

I think it depends on the time that you put the SE in. My calculations took the best part of an hour and there's alot of jumbled up info on a spreadsheet too. But if you put:
10 AP at level 40,
10AP at 41
20AP at 42
700AP at 43, you will get much less SE profit than if you did:
700AP at 41
10AP at 42
10AP at 43

I think it was worth it. Though 71 of my attributes are fairly rubbish battle wise (constitution and magic), they will save me 20k SE from the quest and help my manaconstruction...
If you put in 900k and got out 127 attributes that means an average attribute cost 7086SE via this method.

Perhaps you did get a little screwed, though it does depend on that 900k being right.

Apparently, you are awarded the SE you put in originally+ interest basically.
But, the earlier you put it in, the more you get out (the more interest).
As in, it gives you back all the AP you spent on the SE (not battles, I'm not sure on that yet), but instead of giving you the average SE per AP you had when you put it in, it gives you the current average SE per AP back.

I'm trying to work out the maths on this:
If 1 AP =1200 SE when you build 10k Used SE but by the end of the event, the AP is worth 2000, it means that every AP spent you will get 800SE profit.

So say it took 400AP to get to 10k Used SE, that's 400*1200= 480000 SE you spent.
But your average AP is at 2000, that's 400*2000= 800000 SE you get back.

That 800k SE goes straight into AP, but it works out that you gain 320k more SE into attributes than you would get if you directly put it into attributes.

For me, 1 attribute costs 6970.42 on average (no ultra spec) and say that goes up by 300SE each level... I need to break out my statistics book... to get +20 on all my stats (an estimate of what I think i will get) 70(2*6970.42+69*250)=2,183,359

45*8000 = Average SE per AP = 1655.5

My average AP currently wields 1739.161 SE (with 8% trapping and 100% spectral, despite it normally being a 12% trapping... raising it to 1925.... but I'll skip that and go with what the system thinks I could get)

1617000/1654.165= 978AP used on this event. Each AP gives (1739.161-1654.165)= 84.996 SE profit. In total, this event has given me 84.996*977.5325= 83086 SE profit.

83086+1617000= 1,700,086 SE on attributes.

1700086=n/2(2a+(n-1)d)
3400172=n(13941+250n-250)
13691n+250n^2=3400172
n^2+54.76328-13600.69=0

Then, I will get like 10BOAS and +1 luck because I've only killed 50 monsters.

I am extremely interested to know if these attributes account for specialisation/ultra spec, or if it includes them anyway. I have heard that it is the cheapest way to buy attributes in the entire game, so perhaps it awards the 30% reduction whether you have the skill or not. Also, whether the average SE from AP is based on history of the players actual hunts or if a computer works it out...

This is of course based on a LOT of guesstimations (and I've probably made an error somewhere too), including the fact that the method of the change in average SE income is the only thing varying the rewards/if it affects it at all....

Hell, the event might even be over by the time I've written this... it was at 15k left last time i checked lol... Good to know if I was close at all though

The theory could still be right, but it could include ultraspec on every attribute, as well as another bonus i don't really know.

Is there any news on implementing a mass mail? I tried Name1; Name2; Name3 but it didn't work so I assume it's not done yet?
Along with this, an address book of recently used names/contacts would be good. It's just easier than having to remember the start of the name you were looking for.

On quizzes in clan forums, is it possible to have a vote where players can choose more than one option? More like a tally box... it would be useful when deciding on a day to tackle the Epic monster.

We get no experience for capturing an animal. I would've thought that capturing an animal gives you more experience than killing it? Yes, it isn't direct battle experience but it involves dodging and tactical thinking so I do think it should give experience.
That may contradict with players who believe experience is bad, but it makes sense to me that it should give you even more experience.

I'm excited... it's almost over on World 2! 1 day left pretty much...

I've gone for a different style to the others... only 50 creatures killed (no relics ) but with a used SE of 42000. No idea how it's going to turn out... hopefully it'll be alright though.

If it goes on the average SE gained from hunts at the end of the event, am I not better off shoving all my SE into luck now?? I was doing a test over 4 levels to test my average SE gain with just levels being the variable, so I will be very curious to see how it matches up.

Generally though, the time taken to level up increased (based solely on AP)
For example, it takes:

However, you get more experience from duels, more AP (though maybe quite a bit less from trapping), etc.

I think your statistic of 2/3 of all questions have a 50% or lower answer rate may be skewed by the fact that many players don't attempt the questions. You should have another statistic stating how many questions that were attempted have a 50% or lower answer rate. Though I might be wrong and that's what you've done, I can't be sure.

I like the 75% rule.

Semolina is ground Durum wheat, so it is wheat too. I think this is ambiguous, but the answer is still obvious so I assume it has a 75% or higher pass rate and therefore the question will be kept? I'm just checking so I won't post questions like this in future to waste forum space.
