I went for trade myself.
Did some calculations and the value of the SE reducing items don't seem very worthwhile. Considering it's a minuscule 3% (at best), it saves the owner 30k SE when 1mil SE are spent, whilst on the other hand the value of the +trade keeps increasing even when the max skill level is achieved.

Well, we can't have everything as they say.
Another way of doing it is equipping level 1 gear and emptying your lootable SE prior to signing off. That way you will always lose without loosing any SE.

I was doing 100+2*40 instead of 2*40+100.
Here's a "non-bodmas" version:
Normal: 2 * lvl + 100 * TP
Plus transcendal focus: 2 * lvl + 100 * TP * 1.5

or

What dirt are you referring to? I'm making observations on posts and circumstances.

Really? I have never received any mail of the sort, apart from "fanmail" from some unstable players.
And it's highly unlikely that you do as well. Remember, players hate you for stealing their SE; mailing you with the amount you stole is highly unrealistic.

The increased skill level will never exceed its maximum and cannot be increased more than the basic rate of the skill
Does this mean that if skill x is currently @ level 49 and it's maximum is 50, using mindboost +25 on it will still restrict the maximum bonus of mindboost to +1?
