Wasn't using APt and DPt in xeno wars (like other events) supposed to fulfill hunting and duelling tasks ?

the back button (after each xeno battle) is taking us to the previous battles page rather than to the xeno event page.

No rewards for attacks with DP's, only AP's?

Xeno fights complete ToD quests, I think with last xeno it was added attacks for Apts complete hunt tasks also. I'm pretty sure "duel x times" tasks are not completed when you attack xeno for DPts, you still have to do normal duels to do those.

are Xeno chitins bugged?

i have 40 atm, and did well over 350 fights since yesterday and got ZERO chitins....

the day before i got about 20 in 200 fights.

if my fuzzy memory is correct, last time we could get up to 20 chitins max after our 400 wins. did you already have 20 left over from last time and added another 20?

then how are we supposed to get 125 xeno chitins for the fetish if you get 20 max per turn? take 3 years of xeno wars to save up for them???

and yes had 20 from last event.

1 reward : 400hits = 50 Chitins
1 reward : 1600 build = 50 Chitins
number of hits between 410 - 600 = 20 chitins

Total : 50 + 50 +20 = 120

So; no need to wait 3 years upon this

since the rewards for 50 chitins are new, how did peeps get it last time around? cuz i wasn't able to buy it last time around either.

shouldn't have to sacrifice rewards to HAVE to choose the 50 chitins per reward to get the fetish

yes indeed; that's the point (choice) DL is pushing us to...
It's an or/or question. If you fancy another reward; than you won't make it to have a fetish by doing just 1 Xeno-event...

The 50 chitins reward is not new, they were in the previous xeno event. So you must choose, fetish or other rewards.
