i can assure you that is exactly what happened. When i mailed support i gave them the battle description and time and just asked them to check my logs and piggys logs leading up to that hit and explain to me how it was possible to be attacked that efficently and exactly.

the rest is history.

while that kind of precision is certainly possible on occasion with a bit of luck, it's unlikely to occur with regularity without 3rd party assistance.
...perhaps there's a traitor in your clan.

i am not my position. i'm trying to approach this as a problem separate from my allegiances. if you're telling me it happened once, i'm not impressed that it's cheating. if you're telling me it's happened multiple times, it'd take a tremendous amount of diligence on the part of the attacker. if you're telling me it's happening every time, it's certainly very suspicious. and assuming you're truthful, i would expect the admins to give it a hard look. what i don't understand is why months of logs didn't result in a more definitive decision and announcement one way or the other. that's what's prolonging this unpleasantness.

The admins told me via email that MsPiggy clicked the same button every 20 seconds for 2 hours. Even if that was true, that wouldn't account for the hitting after 1 second of being unsafe. Looks like a bogus explanation to me.

its what ultimately got her suspended, wether it was a lucky hit for her or unlucky random time for me is ireelevant

As im in the same clan as ALOT of her "cows" what happened to me was nothing new, virtually every member of my clan that was hit by her posted in our clan forum pretty much similar "un"lucky timing issues. I used to think they were not trying hard enough to avoid cowing but as soon as she got within my range i made it mission to get cowed by her so i would know for sure one way or another.

if you go back in posts a bit u will see Littlejon who is a looter himself had a similar timing issue, its n ot isolated to me, i just psoted the steps i took to avoid it and i did set myself up for the hit in first place so i was doubly careful when she hit

Hitting the same buttom every 20 seconds for 2 hours is a clear indication of usage of a clicker.
As a matter of fact, any sort of pattern for a very long time (more than 10 min because I don't believe anyone would be actually clicking a buttom for more than 10 minutes)) indicates the usage of a clicker.
And just for the record, clickers do random timing too. It wouldn't have to be 20 secs everytime.

every 20 seconds would give pretty decent odds of hitting someone seemingly the second they exited safety. so, if true, why is the suspension just temporary?

All we can do is speculate. My guess is they are hoping that after some time, MsPiggy will return suitably chastised and avoid the behavior that caused problems.

oh! so you're suggesting that the temporary suspension might BE the decision rather than a hold while they make the decision. interesting. if so, they should simply announce the length, so we can all stop speculating.

it would also give decent odds of hitting someone at :

2,3,4,5,...20 seconds after they got out of protection. all the players that complained said it was <=5 seconds, which means they either exaggerated so their tears will soften the admin's heart, they can't count or ... bogus logs.

what other tool could he use that would determine someone's hp faster than the 1 minute from orb, you know.. so he can attack at 1 second after coming out of protection.

Its cool that you can have Orb which can tell you when will someone drink a potioon or change to gear with lower const in advance, even if it is <5 sec and not <1

i do, since the people who complained were REALLY sure it was 1-2 seconds :

"she hit me within 1 second of going unsafe at a random time"

"hitting people within a second or two of exiting safety through unpredictable means"

"and still be hittable within 1 second of coming off safty"

"she had got me, it wasnt 1 second it was less than 1 second."

Yes, it's possible to "attack" someone every 1 second. And unfortunately, it's easily done.

All I can think is:

Temporary ban: either having a count down timer or keeping the one locked until he/she loses time/resources equal to the advantage he/she gained by cheating.

I don't know what type of software the banned one used but it is possible that the one is having more accounts and admins are mointoring the IPs.

or not return at all. it's been almost 3 weeks since the suspension. This is WAY too long. It should have taken 3 days for the final decision to be made.
