I don't understand how to enable fighting with more than one pet. Could this be explained, please?

The hordemaking skill becomes available at learning level 38. To reach learning level 38, you must be in a clan with an academy of at least level 4 (and to have paid enough SE to have access to the buildings)

This skill gives you the opportunity to take more than one pet into battle. At level 10 plus 1, at level 30 plus 2, at the maximal level 60 plus 3 animals may be assigned to fight. If you take more animals into battle, each attacks and damages your opponent, but the absorption does not sum up, just the average is counted. If victorious each pet receives a morale bonus and experience points.


Back to the AA points again, when you invest in the Respecialization skill, is that a one time cost to grant access to respec-ing for free from then on? In other words, do you pay 3 AAP to respec an infinite amount of times, or 3 AAP per respec?

The only time I have ever won a challenge on a skill that I had at zero was as a defender. I'm sure the defender wins all ties.

Phalanxii, you might encounter that message in case of regular characters too. The base rule of duels is that noone can be attacked more than 5 times in 3 hours. If you are the sixth person to attack the same character in the last 3 hours, you will get that error message instead of a battle. The reason behind this is that with each attack on the same target within the last 3 hours, the amount of SE you can loot from him is decreased by 20%. These percentages are what you can see in the duel list in the SE column. After 5 attacks within 3 hours, they reach 0% so no SE would be awarded to you even if you won.

But didn't the developers change energy harness so that the % has no effect. So at 100%, I could loot 1k, like I could loot 1k at 20% (and then 0% too). So wouldn't I still get the SE I wanted?

True, in case of energy harness, but not everyone has that skill. Besides, this is more like a safeguard to prevent anyone being hit too often. The error message is a bit strange, that's true, they could have written something more meaningful or better suited at least, but it would make little difference.

The trade skill can be boosted by a few different things right?
Black Market Relic- increases cap to 180
Huckster Friend AAC- increases cap by 20
Golden/Silver/Bronze Necklace of Trade- boosts by 30/20/10

So what if I get the black market relic after the huckster friend? Does it mean you're stuck at the cap of 190 and the black market relic has no effect?

If it were the other way around, could you push the trade limit to 200 by going to 180 then 200?

BTW, was your skill at its maximum by default or by using mind boost? Because the boosted part doesn't count in challenges, only the base skill level.

I see. Well, the only thing I can think of is that your targets did have some skill points added beyond the theoretical maximum value of those skills. Were they not clean of the infection by chance? If they were, they could have increased those skills by 5 more points. Or maybe they had the item Book of Knowledge from the Auction Hall which increases the maximum value of each skill by one. Also, if their clans have the Alchemy lab, they might have used essences to increase those skills, although I don't know if that counts in challenges.

Check these, see if any of them could have caused the strange outcome of your challenge.
