What level should be the Alchemy lab so I can get essences by squeezing pets? Since we got the first level of the lab, I've squeezed about 30 pets, but haven't seen any essence coming out of them. (except from the one time when I used a gradulatum)

When you squeez a pet you have 10% chance to find an essence, with gradulatum this chance is 100%

The laboratory level will only determine the duration of the effect of the essence. Each level increases it by 10 minutes. Maximum level is 50.

i cant buy a stimulator because i dont have familiar! what that means... ????

That means you must buy familiar at first. It is special type of pet with some bonuses in comparision with normal pet. In game exist 4 types of familiars. You can see them and buy them under Misc - Relic menu. / not Actions - Soul-huckster - Relic /. You can have maximal 2 familiars.
Price is - if I good remember - 100AS for each. I bought them too long ago to be sure.

To create a catalyzed essence I can make it the same way as the other green ultraessences: I need 1 catalyst essence, and 5 Exceptional (yellow) essences (you can get them when using normal, grey essences).
Does this mean I can only get the yellow Exceptional essence by actually using an essence in-game (by clicking the white cross in the red circle) or can I also get them from using 5 different normal essences and a catalyst essence when creating an ultra-essence?

SageSenin, it means unless you buy a familiar, you'll have to use a royal decree to complete the task.

Yet I can't get any essence from squeezing. Over 50 pets squeezed now, and not a single essence. I know that 10% doesn't mean that I will get 1 essence out of every 10 pets, but still, I find it rather strange that nothing came from over 50 pets - or even more, because the lab was built quite some time before I started counting. The only essences I have are from "Create a random essence for 120 APts and 30 DPts", a couple by using gradulatum, and what I bought from the daily offers. So I'm beginning to think that there is some level requirement for alchemy lab after all before I can get essences, but what is that? 10? 15? 25? Or if it's 100% sure that there isn't, then I guess my character is broken. Either way, the result is the same: no essences from squeezing. I would like to get this fixed somehow.

Submit a ticket to Customer support, and be sure to include as much info as you can.
And be instistent that they look at the issue if you belive someting is not as it is supposed to be.

If u want to create a catalyzed essence you need 5 exceptional (yellow) and 2 catalyst essence! To create an exceptional essence use normal essences (click on the name in Alchemy lab page) and you have 10% chance to get 1 (i'm not sure in 10% but probably the same chance like squeezing)

Ultraessence (green) requirement: Alchemy lab lvl25
Megaessence requirement: Alchemy lab lvl50

Every time you use a Regular (white) Essence, there is 33% chance you will get an Exceptional (yellow) Essence. When you have collected 33 Megaessences , the chance is increased from 33% to 50%. To create a Catalyzed Essence, you need all 5 Exceptional Essences and 1 Catalyst Essence. The Catalyzed Essences are only useful when you already have 35 Megaessences, as each Catalyzed Essence increases your maximum number of Megaessences, which is capped at 35 without them, by 5.

You need 2 Catalyst Essences for the Special Ultraessence, which is the Essence that turns all the other 4 Ultraessences into a Megaessence.

essences are confusing.

In case anyone is still wondering what on earth happened to my essences (probably not ), I can say that I finally managed to get essences from squeezing pets. I don't know at which level of the Alchemy Lab they started dropping, but certainly not at level 1. We have a level 9 Alchemy Lab now, and essences are coming as they are supposed to. I assume there must be some hidden code for this which nobody seems to know about, but anyway, somewhere between lvl 1 and 9 of the AL, essences start appearing from pets.

As far as I know, you have the same chance to find an essence, regardless of level of the labor. But! If you weren't full member before (ie. you didnt fill in your quote to the soul-well) the lab didn't work for you. It works only after you become a full member.

How does relic work? Is it consumable or does it last for a certain period?
For example, I am interested in the relic "Emperor's scroll," but I am not sure if it only works for one quest or last until I am done.

In this case (and only in this case); this relic will "vanish" after you bought it. Or; better, it's "deactivated" after you bought it and your active quest will become "completed". This relic is often bought by players to accomplish the quest "3 draws".
In general ---but not this one--- (most) relic are permanent or active for eg. 6 months.

Note.: Don't buy this item when you don't have a quest "active"!!!! I'm not sure; but it might happen that you wast this unique item without having any added-value (as you don't have a quest active).

When you acquire the scroll, your active quest will become completed. Best to use for quests like "acquire 3 draws" or "level up 5 times". And yes, don't buy it when you have an active quest

When you buy it, it will remain in your inventory - this is so that it "blocks" you from buying a second simliar item, (You can have only one of each relic) but it will do nothing anymore, and you can't sell/destroy it.
