You used the duel simulator in duel page. Simulation costs 1 ancient stones.
Do not check off the simulation if you attack an other character because it will be a simulation. At simulation nobody loses HPs or SPs, but you cannot obtain either soul-energy or XP. You may survey your chances of victory.

I was told that I could go on quests in the game but I don't see a "quest" tab in the sidebar...is it because I just started today?

Quests appear after you reach level 4. They give increasing reward and it starts with 50 se more each time you complete a quest, but it goes up to 350. So first is 50, then 100, then 150 etc but at higher quests it goes 16000 then 16350 then 16700

Maybe it was level 4 before, but now its level 2.
