Question about Hordes, after playing a bit here, I need to know if it is really worth going forward as a RUBY. It seems like diamonds are truly best. Do most people agree with this? Gaining more SE and losing less sounds like the ticket to winning. I feel like I should start over as a diamond...what do people truly think?

The answer to this depends with your playing style and with past experience .

I think the best horde is the Emerald and the best way to play the game is to change sides : first start as a Diamond then change to a Ruby and in the end become a Emerald ....

Assuming you buy stones, Ciphas. If not then changing hordes is impossible. So actually a general way to play the game is to know from start what you want to be, dueler, builder, hunter... Then pick horde, skills and abilities to match that. Diamond seem nice Arakan, but only if you plan to duel a lot. If you are a player that will focus on becoming strong and win duels they are a good choice. If on the other habd, like me, want to explore a lot of the skills and features of the game, without trying to be best at dueling, saphire with its fast regeneration and potion bonus, to recover after people attacked me fast was the way to go. I am in an emerald clan but still a saphire for that reason

It means that if i am in your clan and give MY vote to you I can at any moment to take the vote back .

But

It does not mean that you ( even if you are a leader of the clan ) can change my vote .

You just have to click on the Quiz button and then you will see at the top end of the page : Forward to Quiz olympics - rules , entries , results .

But do remember that they are held only once a month !

Okay, i know strength defence and attack, but the other attributes, like IQ, Constitution, and all those, what do they do?

These are written in the "Rules" somehow:

Physical abilities
Strength: The greater stregth you have, the more damage you deal to your opponents in physical fight.
Attack: This ability defines how good a fighter you are and how much chance you have to hit your opponent.
Defense: As the attack increases your chance to hit, the defense decreases the opponents' chance to hit.
Constitution: Your constitution and level will define how much damage you can endure.

Magical abilities:
IQ: In a magic combat your minds lean against each other. The higher the difference (to your favour), the bigger the chance that your spell makes full damage and does not miss your opponent.
Thaumaturgy: Higher taumaturgy means greater spell damage, and it increases other effects of the spell as well.
Magic: Your magic and level will define the total sum of your spell points.

Under the duel list you can see the answer for your question. You can't see if someone is resting. Matter of luck.
