Actually, Wiki lists 13 countries, but it has a "duplicate" - East & West Indonesia, I think. I ALMOST complained about this question myself until I Copied the country list and noticed it.

The 70's song 'Amazing Grace' was written when ?
1873
1973
1673
1773

"Amazing Grace" is a Christian hymn written by English poet and clergyman John Newton (1725–1807) published in 1779. With a message that forgiveness and redemption is possible regardless of the sins people commit and that the soul can be delivered from despair through the mercy of God, "Amazing Grace" is one of the most recognizable songs in the English-speaking world.

India is surrounded by the Indian ocean. The ""borders"" of this ocean are the west side of Australia, South East Asia and Indonesia, and the East African coast. So India is covered by all sides from it.

On what instrument does Maxim Mrvica play?
Piano
Drums
Trumpet
Guitar

Not so well known name amongst the population of the Earth. He can not be compared with a name like Chopin or Mozart. They are well known. But this is special, known only a subcultural group!

Who is the only Major League Baseball player to have his number retired by all teams?
Babe Ruth
Lou Gehrig
Joe DiMaggio
Jackie Robinson

Baseball is little known outside the american border. Especially not in such dept! Special! Delete!

True, he can not be compared to Mozart or Chopin. Nor he's intended to. He's a modern performer. Like Lady Gaga, Rhianna, David Guetta. Get the picture?

And he's definitely more known than dozen of writers that got accepted. And it isn't even asked what are his songs are, just what instrument does he play...

should be in the finals... I still remember the game (didn't put the question, though)

But, since football questions from Hungarian league in the 50's are legit, guess this is too...

Boar, the players reffered there are all time stars, some have even movies done about their lives. So it is not so special to know which of them was so good at baseball that all teams decided noone can ever have his number. If soccer player got the same treatment, it was going to be considered good question. Baseball is not a world sport but a lot of people play or watch it to justify at least that type of questions.

Please note that a lot more people, me included have no baseball at their countries, but i know the rules, a few players and teams due to films, games or tv shows.

Who painted the "Last Supper"?

Piero della Francesca
Leonardo da Vinci
Pietro Perugino
Sandro Botticelli

Looks obvious and would be unless you knew that Perugino also painted a 'Last Supper'

I agree with your first point - but you are dead wrong about your 2nd. Not only is Baseball a world game, but the retirement of the number is of massive cultural significance... The answer is Jackie Robinson - the first Black player allowed to play in Major League Baseball. This is a case of taking an opportunity to learn something - not just complain because you don't know.

I'm not sure what the exact phrasing was in this question, but it was something like the following

What animal can't jump
- Elephant
- Giraffe
- Badger
- Rino

So... What's a Rino? (the answer was elephant, which is correct, but rino is no animal)

Seriously, you know what the question is asking, there's no debate about it. There are PLENTY of other questions to complain about in the database - just wait a hunt or two, and you'll find something far worse than this.

However, this is another case where a Mod could have made these corrections easily enough, and not altered the meaning of the question in the slightest.

Lastly, Waterpolo does not HAVE to be separate words. It is more conventional that it is, but it's really not essential.
