This one just doesn't read properly.................What, having been done six times before, has not occurred since December 1972 by any member of the human race?

Especially when one of the (incorrect) answers is simply "Haileys(!!) comet"

Yes, I didn't like this one - my other concern is that each mission had two people who walked on the moon, so it's actually been done twelve times, not six.

Just had 3 on the trot..............
1-What Nationality is writer/singer Leonard Cohen?
France.
Israel.
Canada.
United States.
All the answers are Countries not nationalities. Leonard Cohen is Canadian

2-What unusual musical instrument uses the rock formation ArcAttack?

I wasn't even sure what this question was asking until I googled it, I thought it was geological !!!! Slightly lost in translation I think, but easily fixed.

3- What is the term for the amount of alcoholic volume that evaporates during the ageing (and yes ageing is spelt with an e despite what my spellcheck says !!) process in oak barrels?

I like this question, it taught me something, and the mistake is very minor. It should read alcohol not alcoholic.

Edited for grammar !!!!

Most of the above-mentioned problems are corrected.

Did I read that questions along the "what is the second largest?" vein are not allowed?
If so then this one needs addressing......................The Corryvreckan, the third largest whirlpool in the world, is found where?

This question is asking about the whereabouts of a big thing, "the third largest" is only an educational extra in this context.

Could any native speakers help to correct this question properly? (The answers are already corrected.)

Sorry, I was lazy when first posting this.................Many ways of saying this, and without knowing the answers given, it is slightly harder to rephrase without giving away the correct one. Something along the lines of..........After six successful attempts by man, What has not occurred since December 1972?

I know the Halley's comet answer, which would then be better changed to "The viewing of Halley's comet"

Have no problem with that, it did actually teach me something as I had never heard of it before.

I see your point on this Johannes, maybe the answer can be tweaked to something along the lines of "Moon walking missions"

I know what is meant, but......

"Whose make up is more than a quarter of all mammal species on Earth ?
Whales
Dogs
Cats
Bats" <---

maybe reword it as:

"Who accounts for more than one quarter of all known mammal species on Earth?"
The ONLY Wombat on W3

My original post still stands, I believe that the answers have now been tweaked, but they simply made no sense. How could the answer to the above question be Halleys (not Haileys, as given in the answer) comet?
And I still stand by my assertion that nobody would ask the question in this way.
But if people understand the question then it is purely your judgement call.

Not an incorrect question as such, but the (incorrect) answer smacks of racism.

Which of the following is not an accurate definition of niggardly?

Of African descent?

Now I have been told that the N word may not be racist in many cultures, but to the majority of the English speaking world it is. So to my mind even alluding to it is distasteful.

While Im posting I seem to have come across a lot of Roman numeral questions lately, Do we really need more than 1 question along the lines of what does XCVII mean?

Dancer, i think that's the point - 'niggardly' is often incorrectly believed to be a racial slur.

I get the point, just don't think the word should be alluded to.
Might just be a cultural thing.

Question-
What is a Trireme?

Answer (correct)
a small fast boat used by the Athens.

Correct answer (though in their time probably not small), just needs tidying up.

A trireme (derived from Latin: "tres remi:" "three-oar;" Greek Τριήρης, literally "three-oarer") was an ancient vessel and a type of galley, a Hellenistic-era warship that was used by the ancient maritime civilizations of the Mediterranean, especially the Phoenicians, ancient Greeks and Romans.

World English Dictionary
trireme (ˈtraɪriːm)

— n
a galley, developed by the ancient Greeks as a warship, with three banks of oars on each side, from Latin trirēmis.
