I think this is a mistake :

How high is the highest peak in Europe?
Mount Blanc - 4810
Mount Everest - 8848
Mount Everest - 4810
Mount Blanc -8848

The answer I found :
Mount Elbrus, 5642m. in Caucasus :

I complained about this one a few months into World 1. Nice to see that it hasn't been kicked 9 months later.

Wow...ok...this is a bad one, for two reasons:
What's the name of the killer in "Friday the 13th" movie?

First, there is two versions of this movie...

So if the question is asking about the more recent version, then the answer would be correct...

Secondly, in the original version...it was actually Pamela Voorhees.

So, either the question needs to be amended to read:
In the 2009 release, what is the name of the killer in the "Friday the 13th" movie?

Or...change the answer itself.

Some might see this as petty... but.......well...didn't you see the movie "Scream" jeez....the poor girl died for this exact reason!

You are correct, sir. People tend to forget just because Elbrus is in Russia, that it is not in Asia.

Perhaps the author of the query should either change the answer...or to keep the answer; amend the question to:
"How high is the highest peak in the European Union?"

No wonder there is errors in quiz since I just got valued as: "The question is valued as "Bad, incorrect question"!" since I do know I have answer right. Question was about subject I have been studying for 7 years in university and it was also quite simple one (nothing rocket science).

Which of these do NOT belong on this list?

Rembrand
Picasso
Van Gogh
Mozart

I picked Rembrand, cause it was the only one misspelled. lol

It should be Rembrandt

A little consistancy PLEASE! Either start treating every question fairlly or as i said ten posts ago get rid of the quizes all together.

As long as there is more than one evaluator, I doubt there will be consistancy, even then it's iffy. Hell I saw a question about the bible but it was accepted, but I put up a question about movies about the bible but it was specific knowledge...and with that, on to the reason I'm posting in here.

Who is the number one pound for pound king in boxing?
Manny Pacquiao
Marco Barrera
Mike Tyson
Joshua Clotthey

Assuming the other three besides Mike Tyson are real boxers (I don't know, this is information requires specific knowledge), the answer would be based on opinion, for instance Muhammad Ali isn't on this list, and I think HE is the Number One Pound for Pound king of Boxing.

This question needs to be removed

Agreed..
not to mention.. this is based on opinion, not necessarily fact.

Some tout Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Others, Julio Cesar Chavez
While some hold that Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay) is the "king of all time".

How big is the football field?
50 meters
100 meters
50 yards
100 yards

There are two problems with this question, the main is witch kind of football? American Football, or European Football?
The second is, the correct answer is not present for either kinds:
The American Football field is 100+2x10 yards long so that's 120 yards
In European Football the size is less standardized, the field is between 90 and 120 meters (FIFA rules for international matches are between 100 and 110 meters)

As to the 1st problem, I think all Football questions should state whether we are talking European or American, calling European Football Soccer will remove the ambiguity for those questions, but not for the American Football questions.

What country was the great inventor Nikola Tesla from?
Croatia (stated as the correct answer)
Bosnia and Hercegovina

USA

This is not technically correct, he was borne in Smiljan, in what is modern day Croatia, but at the time of his birth it was part of the Austrian Empire.

Just had a question that said what animal did not live in america until the europeans arrived. This question is wrong as the american indians rode wild stallions long before anyone colonized north america, south america, or canada. And questions like this should not have been allowed anyway because america and the USA are not the same thing.

Just had this one:

how much water should the average adult drink every day?
2.5 litres
4.5 litres
10 litres
5 litres

The correct answer according to the quiz is 2.5, but don't do that in a hot climate, where I grew up the recommended intake was 4 litres iirc.

Modern horses were brought to the "americas' by spanish conquistadors true. But horses were in america longggggg before any foreigner set 1 foot on american soil. The question did not say modern horse it just said horse. my evidence is from this site and some others but whats the sense when they all say the same lol. Scroll down to the americas.

International game with many players around the world... It is not surprising,if there is a lot of spelling errors in the questions(or here on the forum). But they will always appear, as long as players can write questions... So don't be so picky!

And a question:

What is the name of the 1930 US tariff act that some say contributed to the severity of the Great Depression?
Smoot–Hawley Tariff
General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade
Dave Barry Tariff
Bretton Woods Agreement

Now this is an absolute special and not well known information! From where the hell should we know this? Damn! That Depression thing was not even taught in the school here so detailed way!
International game, please give us international and common knowledge questions! Delete please!

I found another one! Unfortunately, I didn't copy the question It was:

What do we call evergreen?

and two of the answers were:

trees with needles
trees with leaves that stay green (or something like that)

And the trees with leaves that stay green, was marked correct. I'm sorry but (most) Evergreen trees, are trees with needles. Or, at the very least, I would say that it is trees that have leaves/needles that fall off and are replaced quickly, or something to that effect. I do know that they are not trees with leaves that stay green however.

Thanks,
Jazaray
