Oh really? What about "Casino Royale" directed by William H. Brown Jr with Barry Nelson as Jimmy Bond and Peter Lorre as Le Chiffre? And it was exactly the year 1954.
For me it is definitely "James Bond movie". 48 minutes long but still a movie.

Where was the Kerosene lamp invented?
Great Britain
Germany
Poland
China

The first kerosene lamp was described by al-Razi (Rhazes) in 9th century Baghdad, who referred to it as the "naffatah" in his Kitab al-Asrar (Book of Secrets).[1] Modern versions of the kerosene lamp were later constructed by Polish inventor Ignacy Ɓukasiewicz in 1853 (in Lemberg, Austrian Empire (today Lviv, Ukraine) and by Robert Edwin Dietz of the US at about the same time;[2] the question regarding the primacy of these two inventors' versions of the lamp remains unresolved.[3]

WOW I found something that was actually Ambiguous - and of course the Mods blow it. Just keep rejecting my Sports questions though.

who is the patron saint of hopeless cases?
St Judas
St Mary
St Stephens
St Jerome

Now, as an Aethiest, I may not be up on my religion... But even I know enough to highly doubt Judas would ever be considered a Saint - let alone the right answer to this question.

Way to go Mods!!!

I can't remember the exact question, but it was about woodwind instruments. It was about choosing an instrument that is not a woodwind one. The answer was "saxophone". Well, the thing is that sax is a woodwind instrument. It is because of a wooden reed, similar to clarinet.

If it was rejected for misspelling is due to the lower case in the names. Adam and Eve. Try re posting that way

Technically, it's the Southern Ocean, and it was not recognized as a separate ocean until recently. It seems like rather a lot to expect the evaluators to keep up with the latest revisions of such things.

A quick google search indicates that Judas is not only a saint, but also the correct answer to the question. Perhaps if you pray to him, you might get some action on the whole quiz evaluation process.

The question is not reffering to Judas that betrayed Jesus. Saint Judas was the brother of Jesus who wrote the Judas book in the bible. I am just posting this to justify the correctness of the question so dont go debating about it as a religious issue.

Jude the Apostle
Jude was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus. He is generally identified with Thaddeus, and is also variously called Jude of James, Jude Thaddaeus, Judas Thaddaeus or Lebbaeus. He is sometimes identified with Jude, "brother" of Jesus, but is clearly distinguished from Judas Iscariot, another disciple and later the betrayer of Jesus.

The Armenian Apostolic Church honors Thaddeus along with Saint Bartholomew as its patron saints. In the Roman Catholic Church he is the patron saint of desperate cases and lost causes.

John, I like you, so I'm only giving you a lower-case - fail!
