By adjusting atmostpheric pressure, you can make room temperature water...
neither boil nor freeze
boil or freeze
freeze
boil

First off it should be spelled atmospheric
Secondly, this ambiguous question is no different than those with 'none of the above' type choices

To make water freeze at room temperature (15-25C) you need to apply quite a lot of pressure, 800-1000 MPa, the common school experiment where water freezes under low pressure, is due to the temperature drop caused by the evaporation when the boiling point drops below that of the temperature of the water.

One note on this question is that it isn't common knowledge:
Most conditions dealing with atmospheric pressure deals with the compression and expansion. Adiabatic cooling and warming in relation to the volume of said substance whether it is gas, liquid, or solid will determine the phase that it is in.

The pressure/temperature chart (called a phase diagram) does exist for
ice/liquid water as well as many other systems. The co-existence curve for
ice and water obeys the Clapyeron equation. That equation states that:
dTm/dP = Tm*dV/dHm
where Tm is the melting point, dTm is the change in the melting point, dP is
the change in pressure, dV is the change in the volume of melting, and dHm
is the heat of melting. Plugging in the numbers, one obtains for water:
dTm/dP = -7.4x10^-3 K/atm. That is for water an increase in pressure results
in a lowering of the melting point (by a small amount). For most substances
dTm/dP > 0. It is negative for water because the dV of melting of ice is
negative.

Note: one obtains for water:
dTm/dP = -7.4x10^-3 K/atm. That is for water an increase in pressure results
in a lowering of the melting point (by a small amount). For most substances
dTm/dP > 0. It is negative for water because the dV of melting of ice is
negative. In order to lower the freezing point of water 1 C. requires a pressure of
135 atm!

It is correct that the melting point of water drops a little with increasing pressure, but at a point around 200 MPa (~2000 atm) strange things begin to happen and the melting point of water actually starts to raise and around 600 MPa (~6000 atm) you the melting point climbs above 0C again.

But even though the question and answer is technically correct, I have to agree that this is neither common knowledge or even hi-school level knowledge, I learned about this at my 2nd (or was it 3rd) year at the university, studying mechanical and thermal engineering.

What is a part you will never find in a computer? (or maybe it was PC)

The answer is radiator - but this is wrong. Many PC shops are selling water cooling systems for PC's that have radiators.

Just got this question

When do you use CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)?

When a person is choking
When a person is unconscious and has no heartbeat
When a person is unconscious and not breathing
When a person is unconscious but breathing

The answer the author gives is "When a person is unconscious and has no heartbeat." And while this is correct according to the mayo clinic CPR should also be perfromed when someone isn't breathing as well. So two of the anwers are correct. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/first-aid-cpr/FA00061

I believe that there is a spelling error in this question:

2)Which actor played Dracula?

Clark Gable
Lawrence Olivier
Bela Lugosi
Erol Flynn

Erol Flynn should be spelled Errol Flynn.

The question was something like: Which was dose a compass point under normal conditions? North, South, East, or West

The question answer is North. But that is incorrect. A compass is use to tell which way is north, but the magnetite in a compass needle points to the positive pole. A Magnetic metal's molecules all line up due to it's polarity. Magnetic north is infact the southern pole, and since you know where magnetic north is you know where magnetic south is, the north pole.

So to recap the molecules are attracted to the south pole and point as such. The part on a compass that points north is just and indicator to see where that direction is.

The question needs to be changed or deleted due to the writer's lack of knowledge. Thank you

Where is the anime from?
From Portugal
From Japan <-- marked correct
From China
From the U.S.A.

All of the answers are correct. There is Japanese anime, and there is also American anime, Chinese anime and Portugese anime. The question also needs to lose the word "the" in front of anime, but that's besides the point. I think the question should be re-worded to "From what country did anime originate?" or something similar.

Thanks,
Jazaray
