What rises when the Sun sinks, What glows in the darkness that is night?
Taco Bell
The Stars
The Planets
The Moon <- marked as correct.
I have no idea if this is part of a poem or such, but it is not correct. The Moon orbits the Earth, in such a manner that it may be in the sky at any time of the day or night. Depending on the lunar cycle it sets and rises before, after or at the same time as the Sun.

The stars and planets also shine at night, and actually it's only the stars that glow, the Moon and planets shine with reflected light form the Sun.

If you are sober you are NOT...
tall
fat
drunk <- marked as correct
high
You're not high either, high might mean intoxicated by drugs, in which case you're not sober.

Which fast food chain has the slogan "Think outside the bun"?
McDonalds
Taco Bell *
Burger King
Del Taco
How should I know, we don't have Taco Bell and never heard of Del Taco. I'd call this one a specialist group question.

Who is NOT a character in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series?
Jason Bourne *
Rand al'Thor
Mat Cauthon
Perrin Aybara
Either you have to know who Jason Bourne is, or you have to read all the wheel of time books, this is a specialised group question.

What is the only way to destroy a diamond?
acid
a titanium hammer
intense heat <-- right
nuclear bomb

Destroy? You can't destroy anything really... Diamond (in it's pure form) is pure carbon, you can't destroy those carbon molecules...
So, the verb could've been better, but even so, destroy can mean different things... shatter, melt, obliterate. So it could be any of the last three options (luckily I chose correctly).

What soft drink used to contain cocaine?
Pepsi
Soft drinks never contained cocaine.
Orange
Coca-Cola <-- right

I thought this was an urban myth? Wikipedia says it does, but I thought this question had already discussed it and deleted the question...
It's ambiguous to have both Coca-cola and a no drink option.

What term do cemetery enthusiasts use to describe their hobby of exploring a cemetery?
History Hunting
Cemetery visiting
Tomb hopping <- Marked as correct
Graving <-

Checking the internet, I found several references to Graving being the correct answer, and only one reference to Tomb Hopping being the correct answer. So at best this question is ambiguous.

Coke contained (and still does, I believe) OIL from the Coca plant. Refined leaves from the plant make cocaine. It's like saying hemp oil has marijuana - same plant, different refining method.

This is not wrong, but I think this kind of question should list the International Scientific names as well as the English names.

In The Cat in The Hat, by Dr. Seuss who were the paired protagonists?
Thing One and Thing Two <- correct
Little Cat A and Little Cat B <- also correct
Ronnie and Donnie
Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee

The Cat in The Hat is the 1st book in a series (or rather a literary universe) also known as The Cat in The Hat. In the 1st book the "paired protagonists" are Thing One and Thing Two, in the second book it's Little Cat A and Little Cat B, in the subsequent stories Thing One and Thing Two are back.

He killed the Green Knight's son by mistake
He seduced the Green Knight's wife
He failed to show up for his scheduled beheading
He kept the girdle given to him by the Green Knight's wife

I don't feel it too special. I'm Hungarian, but I read about Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. By the way, that is one of the oldest story of the Arthurian legends.

Could someone please translate this one to English
.... famously produced by ....

Could people please at least attempt to keep the superfluous words and phrases in the sentences used to make up their questions and answers for the quiz to an absolute minimum, thereby keeping the questions simple and easy to understand, so that misunderstandings of the question or the answers to said questions does not become the reason for an incorrect answer....

In other words, saying the same: Please use clear and simple language when making questions for the quiz.

P.s. in the example prompting this post the word "famously" is not merely superfluous but complete gibberish.

The Cruise control (sometimes known as speed control or autocruise), was invented in?
1788
1838
1888
1938

Both 1788 and 1945 come up regularly (1945 being far more common Google). One is for the invention of the concept. One is for the patent of the name and real-life application. Without indicating whether it is for Trains or Cars, this makes it ambiguous at best.

I agree! there are two things wrong with this one: neither Legolas nor Gandalf had an elven ring, and it's specialist knowledge anyway.

Oh and it has been brought up earlier.

The ocean looks blue because....?
Sea water absorbs sunlight and gives of a faint blue light
It reflects the blue sky above <- marked as correct
It is an optical illusion produced by the tiny waves on the surface of the water
It is a mirage of the horizon
This is a myth! The ocean is blue because water absorbs less of blue light than it does the other colours.

What was the last name of the person who invented American baseball?
Doubleday <- marked as correct
Mays
Bonds
Jackson
From what I have been able to find, this is a myth.
