How many time zones are there?
4
12
16
24

24 is an obvious question (and it is marked as correct). But as far as I know there are more time zones. Here http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/custom.html?sort=2 I counted 29 (may be mistaken - checked only once - but at least more than 24).

Which chemical element has the lowest boiling point?
Helium
Oxygen
Hydrogen
Argon

An element cannot boil. It would be correct to ask "Which substance..."

Who fought in the war of 1812?
Great Britain vs India
Great Britain vs France
Canada vs Great Britain
*United States vs Great Britain

Besides the answer marked as correct, French invasion of Russia (also known as the Patriotic War of 1812) dates 1812 as well. As Russia is not stated anywhere in the answers, presumed answer may be found (but notice France is there). It seems that wording is not completely accurate, although.

Which is the largest continent?
Africa
Asia
Europe
North America

I believe that to treat Eurasia as a single continent or to divide it into Europe ans Asia is a matter of teaching tradition at a given country (at least I was taught that Eurasia is a continent, and Europe and Asia are "parts of the world"). Thus, even though both approaches are equally accepted (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continent), I believe the question is ambiguous and should be removed.

Time zones question: It is true there are 40 time zones since some countrys are on a half hour time zone. Changed the answer to that.

Boiling point refers to the temperature when an element moves from liquid state to gas. So the question is ok

The war of 1812 is the US vs GB conflict. That is the atual name known for this conflict. Napoleons atttack on Russia was indeed in 1812 but it is known as Patriotic war or Second Polish War. So the question is ok

Since there are more than 1 continent models, depending on country and school system, it was agreed that if the answer to the question cannot be debated, then it will be considered ok. In the specific case, Asia is the only correct answer regardless if it is not considered continent by some. There is no way to impose that this quiz will accept a specific continent model because there is no wrong way, just the various local ways which are all ok.

I am 99% sure it is correct (or at least nothing incorrect) to change "element" to "compound" or "elementary compound" in the question. I leave 1% for the possibility that in English (it is not my native) "element" may be just short for "elementary compound". To be honest, I did not notice that in professional books I have read - but wiki often uses "element" in such manner, so probably it's true.

For example: carbon is a chemical element. What is its boiling point? Nobody knows - because there exist boiling points of diamond, graphite, or C60 fullerene - elementary compounds made of that element.

I do not insist - but hopefully this explanation makes my point clear.

Agreed on the other points.

If you check out the data sheet of any element, including carbon, you will see a melting point and a boiling point. Ofcourse an element will not boil in the most commonly used way of the word. It is a term referring to the temperature needed to bring it to gas state from liquid. Example:

Name: Carbon
Symbol: C
Atomic Number: 6
Atomic Mass: 12.0107 amu
Melting Point: 3500.0 °C (3773.15 K, 6332.0 °F)
Boiling Point: 4827.0 °C (5100.15 K, 8720.6 °F)
Number of Protons/Electrons: 6
Number of Neutrons: 6

If I am the only who finds anything wrong in the terms used - I would readily agree that it is only a language issue.

But (last remark on this issue to be completely satisfied) - data quoted above is not for "carbon", it is for one of the carbon forms. It is often omitted, but thermal (and any other) data is given for a certain elementary compound formed by an element or (if not stated, as in the carbon example) - for the elementary compound which is the most stable under standard conditions (for carbon it is graphite).

Anyway, elementary allotropes is a large topic - and without going into much details I agree that for our quiz system the question as written now is ok.

I cannot understand why you are making things so complicated.

Periodic table of elements-----> Each element has a boiling point------> Question has 4 of them, asking which has the lowest. Thats it. No element forms, allotropes, isotopes, etc.

As if holding the periodic table and looking at the characteristics of the elements, find the one turning to gas at lower temperature, answer the question. Any other detail has nothing to do with what the question is asking

Which three sectarian groups are involved in the conflict in Bosnia and Herzogovina (1992-1995)?
German, Croats and Muslims
Alban, Serbs and Muslims
Serbs, Croats and Muslims <- marked as correct
Taliban, Serbs and Muslims

Normally "sectarian group" refers to people belonging to a sect!
Two of the groups listed are listed by their ethnicity, while the 3rd is listed by the religion.
The three groups in question were the Serbs (Orthodox Christians), Croats (Catholics) and ethnic Albanians
(Muslims)

I think the question should be:
Which three groups were involved in the conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992-1995)?
or
Which three ethnic groups were involved in the conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992-1995)?
and Muslims should be changed to Albanians.

The hint is in that each breed has a country of origin in their name. So what country was Hamlet from?
Not my question, and I agree that the question in it self does not make much sence, but with the available answers it makes a little.

What state is misspelled on the Liberty Bell?
New York
Pennsylvania <---
Delaware
New Jersey

It's not "misspelled" The fact is that the spelling on the bell, the original Constitution, maps of the day, etc. all spell it as "Pensylvania" Language and spelling constantly evolve. That is just how it was commonly spelled when it was made. It's not "wrong."

Chickens question says USUALLY. So as you also agreed, morning is the most usual time.

Cell phones question changed to: Which is not a type of cellular phone network technology? That way 3d phones are still wrong answer

Added theatrical to question about Spielberg

Removed Cannabis question, there are too many legal issues that make it wrong and hard to fix

Wadlow question is ok, as long as the data is correct it does not matter if he is from a country using different measuring system.

Korean removed from tonal question and added Malay as the correct answer instead

Theodore replaced Teddy and dates are now spaced a bit more

King George question changed to : What language he did not speak, changed correct answer to English and replace Spanish with Latin. That way the very good trivia of this question (English King that does not speak English) is preserved
